Photoshop tutorial. Illustration for Children.
This speed painting tutorial shows some of my digital and analogue processes and how I achieve the final look to my illustrations. The video documents the ...
I have never done digital illustrating, stubborn and old school, I also
enjoy working with my hands (pen to paper). The final illustration is
awesome but what is the win working with a computer vs. working with paint,
pastels, etc.?
+gabriellsbaby So sorry for the late response. To be honest I am like you, I much prefer hands on old school art work and I don't think there is a substitute for pencil and paper. However the major advantages with digital art work is speed! No canvas or paper stretching no drying time and completely clean and contained. Also you can keep a continuity and vibrancy of colour very easily. For one off pieces I would gravitate to the smell of turpentine and texture and feel of the old school way but for commercial pieces it just works better for me to work digitally.
+Jeremiah Edwards Sorry for the late late reply. We created the track specifically for the video and as far as I know it doesn't have a name at the moment. What do you think it should be called?

Thanks. I have no idea , why there´s some jups in my videos. Sometimes i
have a pannel with text explaining things and although in my video editor i
have it timed to appear for 30 seconds or so, most of the times when the
video is uploaded to youtube that bit has less than a fraction of second on
the screen. Must be some codec thing or compacting file stuff with this...I
have no clue...
O ArtRage2 veio originalmente com a 1ª Geração da Wacom Bamboo Fun quando a
comprei, mas esta morreu o ano passado e tive de arranjar uma Intuos4 (Esta
trazia o Corel Painter Sketch Pad). Suponho que a Bamboo que tens é a das
que se vêem agora em algumas lojas, têm melhor aspecto do que a minha
Bamboo original.
Está espectacular! Não sabia que também utilizavas o ArtRage. Qual é a tua
versão? Tenho é o ArtRage2.

Font / type aspects should definitely be pumped up in Illustrator, it makes
sense in general that Illy should be a go to program for that kind of work.
I would also love to see more animation / 3D as well, though they have
sprinkled those functions across a few of their products already.
hey roberto, I'm 30 years old and am just starting my web design/and coding
career. I'm self teaching myself with the help of people from youtube. any
advise for me?
Simple brilliant. Thank you roberto!!!! I'll be keeping in touch with you, every step of the way. Again thank you so very much for your very wish advice.
+Chris Washington Consider looking at some of my videos talking about the career aspects of web and graphic design for some more in depth guidance. Also look at existing websites and not just for their code but look at what makes them appealing to you. Sketch the wireframes, collect fonts, take them apart, rebuild the whole thing from scratch. Designers overhype originality and forget that sports, and martial arts force you to learn things by repetition and copying the movements of a master to learn the basics and the thought process and develop good habits. A lot of people think they can do this from their mind or on their own successfully without mimicking the masters first.... it is a huge mistake and drags the learning curve out unnecessarily. Once you know the how and the why, pulling something original from your mind will be easier because you won't be guessing out how to execute it. I draw before I code or design in a computer so I have a roadmap for execution. That roadmap is based on the experience of traveling down the paths of those who came before me, then forging my own way based on those powerful lessons.
+Journey of The World Technically I do now, but I don't prefer that title since it doesn't tell anyone what I do. If I want to give myself a C-Level Title it's down to Chief Marketing Officer or Chief Creative Officer.
