Ty for the vid, even though its old, its relevant. I was considering
Scrivener, its 40$ on Amazon. Amazon is were I wish to self publish a book
about unbuilt German warships of WW2. I am currently making large scale
physical models, and drawing them in Blender for 3D models. I have also
been delving into Gimp for UV skins. Sorry I am rambling. I have been
checking out all the talk about Ebook marketing, and it seems interesting,
but it has that Circus con feeling to it. I just want to publish my design
and history guide for modelers world wide and for historical purposes,
because there is not a book about the actual designs of the ships.
I still have some revisions to do to the illustrations, but what is nice about Wiki, is that any time I update the Pic, I can post the new version, and it automatically replaces the old one. That is actually the second version of that pic. The first didn't have the screws, and shafts + rudders, so I will still do more work on them. I need to model boats to put on the ships, and more detailed cranes. The cranes that are on there now are just thrown together and don't reflect real German ship cranes very well, and that is what gets time intensive, but like You said. I want the end product to be outstanding, not just OK. TY for the response.
+Haratio Fales , just did. Nice. Liked the side view. The aerial perspective was okay, but if there's anyway you can add more depth to it then you would have nailed it.
+Van Iyke I totally agree. If You have a couple of Min, then go onto Wikipedia, and look at D class cruiser Germany. the cgi ship illustration, along with an angled shot from blender further down in the article were produced by Me.
+Van Iyke TY, but I have already purchased Scrivener some time ago, and Basically written My book. The only thing that is holding me up from publishing it at the moment is the illustrations. I have about 2 out of 14 or so done, and They get easier as I go along, but they still take time to do. I am making the ship models in 3D in blender, then profile mapping them out in Gimp so each one takes about 2 months. I hope they get down to around 1 to 2 weeks when I get done drawing all the parts as then I can do more drag and drop stuff, and then get the book published.

@thelostgirl101 There are certain common words I chose for it not to pick
up on. it, the, etc. I suppose for "it" if it really is a problem, you
could use Word and do a find all. Type It, then choose to have the results
highlighted. Training yourself not to use it so much shouldn't be much of a
problem, though.
Well, when I do line editing, I only edit a page at a time. It only takes
me a few seconds to copy and paste a page into Master Edit, and then, after
I finished editing it, to paste it back into my document. I guess it would
be ideal if it were built into Word. Hey, Microsoft, hehe.
@Glo805 Resolved, even though you never emailed me :p This would have been
much easier and faster if you just used the e-mail that is on the website.
Please don't use check cards, people. Or e-checks. They are always delayed
on Paypal.
I like the program, but when using repeating words, it doesn't pick up on
the word "It" which i tend to overuse sometimes. Are there any updates for
this?
