rendered with shaded, filled polygon graphics." incorrect. "Driver's eyes"
was released in 1987 by Namco - 5 years earlier, followed by "hard drivin'"
by Atari and "Winning Run" also by Namco the following year, 1988. Now, to
my memory, "I, Robot" by Atari was the first fully flat shaded polygonal
arcade game, which dates back another to 1983, although a simpler game,
geometry-wise, it ran a lot smoother.

It would be cool if Sega released an update to Virtua Racing, with all the
circuits and cars remade with photorealistic graphics.
