After a long stint of playing it safe, Chevrolet has decided to take some risks with its full-size Impala sedan. Sounds good but does this riskier take do right by the ...
chevy has older people driving it because the other cars and truck suck
balls in smooth, quiet, fun to drive. Chevy isnt the best and my opinion is
that the malibu and the ss will take the lead. Followed by the silverado.
The impala was a classic car that my grandpa had. Chevy took something old
and made it new. What do you expect? A bugatti? Hell no, just a classy
comfortable car that, if I was old, I would drive. If I really wanted
something fast...I would stay away from chevy and look at ford or other
cars. I have a 04 malibu and it has over 250,000 miles on it. Im ready for
a new car. Chevy is the best in my eyes, but it depends on what class of
car you want.
For those of you that want want a RWD sedan with some balls then check out
the Chevy SS. This Impala was never meant to be sports sedan, it was
designed to be a luxurious cruiser which it does quite nicely.
And plus it looks to sporty like its a racing car the impalas are luxury not V6 exotics and the impala comes with V8, V6, and 4 cylinder. And the older models are like that too. Except it did not come with 4 cylinders
+whitevenom101 that is just my opinion. Yours may vary.
2016 Ford Taurus - Review & Road Test
Once a mid-size sedan the modern Ford Taurus now competes in the full-size category. So, compared to heavy weights like the Toyota Avalon, Chevy Impala ...
I want that Taurus the dodge brothers use to work for Henry Ford they quit
and decided to create their own company only to try to be some much better
than ford lmao dodge sit down u can never be better
It depends on the trim level. The base SE starts around 27k. The mid level SEL is low 30k, the Limited is upper 30k and the SHO tops out in 40k. The base SE is no fun. Don't bother. The Limited is packed with options that make the Taurus a luxury-tech ride (self parking, cooled seats) but a bit steep on the car payment. The SEL doesn't park itself or cool down its seats but there's enough options to make it close to the Limited. The SHO is just like a Limited except it's got twin turbos will haul ass all day on a race track.
It doesn't compete with the 200 but instead with the 300
2016 Chevy Tahoe & GMC Yukon - Review & Road Test
If there was ever a case for, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it," it's the Chevy Tahoe and GMC Yukon. But can these old-school behemoths coexist with a burgeoning ...
+Final Cut Gaming They're downright nimble compared to full size pickups. Shorter wheelbase, more sophisticated suspensions, shorter length, etc. And those are the best selling vehicles overall. People want space. When they start making full size cars again with some style to them the market will go that way. If they make large wagons even more so. But people are biased against them. (Thanks Chevy Chase and your family truckster)
I think the mpg rating for both the 2015 Tahoe LTZ And 2015 Yukon SLT Is 16
MPG City and 22 MPG Highway.
That is really good and combined it's one of the best in class!;)
+Chevyfan the Chevy Suburban Guy! (VRERailFan275) My Volvo S60 awd T6 R design sedan only gets 21.5 mpg combined, and that's on premium! I might get 25 mpg on a road trip. Too many people compare weak small cars to these things when looking at fuel economy. Power and size requires fuel. I assume most of the complaints are from singles and couples with nobody in the back seat and no luggage to pack for them. Enjoy your RAV4's.
I really like these SUVs from GM they're really nice vehicles... but I
heard a lot people complain about ride quality and interior comfort. That's
why I'm reluctant to give up my Chrysler Aspen, it's old Chrysler but my
seats are comfortable, each row has ample space, heck my cousin is 5'11 and
said he could ride in the third row of my Aspen all day... I think GM just
needs to get rid of the live axle rear suspension, for an independent rear
suspension set up... just like Ford did with the Expedition/Navigator.
+Kristoff Kristoffersun These are going to feel great compared to an old Aspen. They're talking pros/cons vs state of the art competition in a much higher price range. And keep in mind that a lot of people have princess and the peas sensibilities towards ride quality. To them a 7 series BMW that costs $85,000 would "ride too harsh".
+J Rock No offense, but they bring up the lower half of the pack in almost every comparison test. That has the same engine you find in the small ATS sedan, which is no speed demon with it. If one wants more than an appliance, there are other factors to consider.
Ok, I'm going to ask this, and I don't mean to be an asshole. I'm genuinely
curious.
For what reason would someone buy a Yukon over a Tahoe? (Or any GMC over a
Chevy for that matter?) What makes them worth the extra money?
+jwatwater GMC's are generally built better. In the Middle East, we always prefer GMC's over other brands like Ford, Chevrolet, Lincoln, etc. They sound better, have nicer interiors, they rarely disappoint.
well it mostly comes down to preference in looks pretty much. also the Yukon comes standard with a few more things like leather and heated cooled seats and also the Denali offers the bigger 6.2l V8 with 8 speed transmission . so for me i may be looking into a new truck in the near future so i prefer the Yukon just because i prefer the styling over the Tahoe and it comes with a few more things as standard.
+jwatwater well for a start there's people like me who needs to tow a big trailer around which most crossovers would never dream of even touching. these trucks have 4x4 not awd which in my opinion is better. also these r full size trucks so there's good ground clearance, a big v8, u sit higher than most on the road. and i can say these trucks r built like a rock. i have an 07 Tahoe and that truck sits outside during the winter and summer (i live in Canada so not very nice winters) and it has up around 250k kilometers on it and it has only minor surface rust under neath (and it is just surface rust nothing major) and there is only one chip in its paint on the front fascia which is just from debree from the highway. it doesn't leak, rattle, shake, squeak, thump, fart or any other noise u can dream up. that's why people buy them and i'm sure there are many other people with many different reasons as to y they buy them.
2015 Ford F-150 - Review & Road Test
When America's best-selling vehicle undergoes a revolutionary overhaul, it's kind of a big deal. Ford seized the opportunity and skillfully crafted one of the most ...
Considering that I clean these trucks and all other ford vehicles everyday,
I'm not a ford guy, but they did step it up. But its still a ford. The only
Ford that I would own is King Ranch with every feature available, and
that's still skeptical in my mind. I'd rather get a Denali or Tundra
instead, but thats my opinion.
These f150's are so much more expensive than ram. Just shopped both. Ram
gives you 20" inch rims, big four door and 395 hp for 33k. You have to
spend 39k with ford for that.
+sheldon blankenshipI think that really depends on where you live. The F-150 is significantly cheaper where I live, especially if you opt for the 2.7L ecoboost, which is a better over all engine than the Hemi V8. So unless you are willing to shell out the 55k for the ram eco diesel, the Ford is the better option. Again this is based on location pricing.
Thinking of trading my tundra in for a 5.0 V8 f150 crew cab 4x4 with the
3.73 gears in it. Anyone know if the 5.0 Is a good engine? Took one for a
test drive and it runs strong, just don't know about those electric fans.
Anyone own one, and could let me know before I buy. Thanks
Had my 2012 5.0 for 80k. Towed a 7500 lb travel trailer twice a year. Excellent highway fuel economy, and seems to get more powerful with age. A bit light on low end torque but it makes hay on the highway. Loves to rev. Buying a 2015 5.0 soon
Ok, yeah had a 2005 Superduty I really liked, but needed a bigger cab since I have 3 growing kids! So I got the tundra crew max. Couldn't afford a new Superduty, and couldn't find one a used one with low miles. Wish I could have gotten a 6.2 Superduty crew cab 4x4 xlt with locking hubs.
I don't have experience with Toyota so I couldn't really tell you the truth. Personally I would never buy anything other than a Ford. But Toyota does make a pretty reliable truck. The 5.0 I'm sure is a solid engine I've never heard of some one having problems with it even looking it up there is no issues.
15 years from now your tundra will still be going strong while the f150 is sitting in a junkyard. that's just my experience but hey, what are you asking for your tundra??
The 5.0 is a solid reliable engine. My favorite two engines are the 2.7L eco boost and the 3.5L eco boost. I would reccomend the 3.5L eco boost if you want to tow over 7,000lbs.
2015 Honda Civic - Review & Road Test
Whereas the Civic's sales dominance was once unquestioned, it now faces formidable competition. To confront the challenge head-on, Honda introduced a ...
+Dean Tuna Well Honda came up with a solution. Honda Key Fobs has this silver top. Thing is that silver top is connected with an actually key. So if your Honda has keyless entry, and your fob dies out, you pull that key and and use it. Now when you start the car with push button start, you just have to have the key fob inside the car and press the brake(or clutch if manual) and press the push start button. If the key fob dies out, usually it has a bit of power left. You would have to place the key fob next to the push button start, hold it there, press the brakes or the clutch and then hold the push button start until the car starts. So it's not like Honda just made a Key fob and that's it. They made back up solutions if the key fob goes wrong. It's also important that once you encounter these problems, it's best that you take your Honda to the dealership to replace and renew that key fob.
Great review, I just purchased a 2015 EX-L with Navi and I'm blown away
with the technology that's in this car. The leather seats with side
bolsters are super comfortable, an the white pearl paint job is
beautifully, everywhere I go they ask me about my car. Thanks for taking
the time to make this review.
+Jinu J I waited to buy the 2015 until I saw the 2016 and I have to say that I am not a fan. From the exterior and interior looks anyway. I don't like the look of the steering wheel and the dash lay out. The back end looks frumpy as well. Ill still with the 2015! LOL
+Jinu J I just did as well, love love love my car. It is really refined and fun to drive. I just have the LX with the 5 speed manual. Great value. Backup cam, Bluetooth and more. Plus the resale value will be great.
+Shray Dose it have ok trunk space for bigger items !! Is it flexibility
enough in that area I would like flexibility with the trunk just in case I
need to put bigger items in the trunk!!
The rear seats are 60/40 split so you can fold them down, and the cargo capacity is just adequate. The Nissan Sentra has a large trunk in the class while the Focus and Mazda3 Hatchback have the highest space overall.
2016 Kia Soul - Review & Road Test
Given the hamster-driven hype surrounding it, the first generation Kia Soul seemed primed for a quick rise and fall. As it turns out the Soul's value, practicality ...
+raul1794 I did a quick trip with the owner and I hated the Fiat. Cars passing me knocked me all over my lane and my foot struggled to feel the pedals. It's also ranks unsafe on small overlaps. The Soul did major improvements in this and now rates good to acceptable on the small overlap. I'm seriously going to trade my 2010 Wrangle AND 2007 New Beetle and drive off the lost owing may $4000.

Following a two-year hiatus, GM's midsize pickups are back and ready to give the segment-dominating Toyota Tacoma a run for its money. Do the latest ...
I just bought a 2016 Canyon ... been a Ford guy all my life but Ford refuses to bring their mid-size in and I just don't like driving and parking the full-size truck any more. . Traded in a 2011 Canyon with 70,000 mile. Never one single trip to the shop for anything. Perfect. Oil changes and a set of tires at 50,000. That is it. Great truck. The new one is so nice it is almost embarrassing, so well laid out and equipped. Other than they forgot to design in a tray for the console (huh?) it is virtually perfect. Love it.
the thing I hate about toyota's is that their interiors are cheap and
contain a lot of rough cheap plastic even the higher up models but I will
not deny that toyota's do last forever I just think as a brand they need to
put a little bit more quality into their interiors because even the new
upcoming next gen tacoma has a cheap looking interior I'm just saying if
I'm spending money on a truck I want a nice exterior and interior and I've
gotten a chance to drive the new colorado and my personal opinion is its a
great mid sized truck its got a vary comfortable and user friendly interior
and it has vary little road noise and it has no blind spots I think every
mid sized truck on the market has its ups and downs but every one offers
something a little different then the next so it honestly depends on the
person
No...the Japanese are using only NON-union factories to assemble their cars...not great wages or benefits..and they are building many in Mexico as well.
+Barry A. why are the domestics building vehicles in mexico instead of building them all in the U.S ans giving americans jobs instead of employing Mexicans?, Toyota is employing Americans and paying them good wages when the domestics would rather outsource jobs for cheap labour instead of giving jobs to more Americans, looks to me like you should be more pissed off at the domestic companies, Toyota could leave and build all their cars in Mexico, maybe that would be better for the U.S economy?, what do you think?
Yes...so they don't have to pay us import tariffs...and then the overwhelming majority of profits are SENT TO JAPAN. ...you're calling me stupid? amazing...
yah dumb asses go to japan and fuck with them! the people of the us are known for there pure brute force and quality products!!! LONG LIVE AMARICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...AND FUCK JAPAN!
And then the majority of the profits are sent to Japan....and the only reason Toyota assembles/builds some cars here is to avoid paying import tariffs...money that us taxpayers will have to make up for.
