First I played Skyrim then I played Oblivion and then I played Morrowind.
Never do this I Morrowind was so unplayable for me because I have been
tainted by Skyrim. I feel bad too cuz I refunded it cuz I thought it sucked
but it isn't until recently that I realized the game didn't suck but I
can't refund my refund so that sucks
+Arcanua the Red Mage Arena and Daggerfall are not unplayable. They are just old and you gotta play it with the same kind of mindset as when you are playing Heretic or Doom or any other game made in the 90s. They all have their own charm to them. And Morrowind is amazing, and a hell of a lot better then Skyrim. Just because you guys don't know how to hit something doesn't mean its bad it just means you are incompetent. This isn't skyrim or oblivion where you can pick up any random weapon and kill people with it, you gotta specialize with one specific weapon to do anything. At it's core it is played like a D&D game but with not so fancy graphics. Everytime you miss its cause got a bad dice roll just like in D&D.
+Andres Villanueva all of you people are so spoiled and you also suck at games. ALL the TES games are very playable, I have played all of them multiple times and 2 and 3 are hella lot better than anything that came after. Morrowind was THE best, not dumbed down like oblivion and especially skyrim. Tour statements show just how old you are and how bad you all are.
+FNAF is the reason we need a mass genocide well of course that's true but it really takes a few hours until you can really get into it and get used to the controls which can be changed, an the combat. The game is still worth playing just for the cool story, I like to to think of it like Skyrim = good combat. And Morrowind = good story
+Andres Villanueva morrowind is unplayable for me too because it's so old and the controls and performance are so bad, which is saddening because i love the lore behind the game
Silly pseudo knife thingies with too many blades
With such fabulous names as "US Eagle Dagger", "Dragon Beast Knife" and "Creepy Critter: Spider Knife". Prepare for some pointless over-the-top fantasy ...
The first two were fine to rant about since they pretended to be weapons,
but the spider doesn't pretend to be functional, it pretends to be what it
is, a statue of sorts that sits on your desk or something.
I think the eagle dagger might be being held upside down?
and it's not designed for practicality. but looks threatening to an average
person, maybe, if you hold it the other way up...
+alfred key It's the nostalgia for games like Overlord or Dungeon Keeper...really gets you looking all over the place for stuff that would look spiky and evil in your evil subterranean domain! Mwahahah!
This Wasp Mind-Controls Spiders While Eating Them Alive
Scientists don't know exactly how the larva of the Reclinervellus nielseni wasp mind-controls spiders into building a special web to protect it but they do know ...
What I find terrifying is that if mind-controlling powers exist in nature,
sometime, somehow, humans might learn how to adapt that power for
themselves. I find a weapon capable of taking over my mind a lot more
frightening than bombs or guns.
I can totally see where you are coming from with the metaphorical thing... But I think brain wash is a better term.. That is just my opinion tho... I don't think your opinion is 100% invalid or anything...
+Conrad Korbol well i really wanted to put it in a metaphorical way-- that mind control may not just be things that compel us with absolute power but may also be things that have deterministic influence over our actions
+Conrad Korbol yeah mostly because how energy-taxing it is to make those stuff operate on a conscious level. i wonder what if we had a more efficient digestive system.
Wait.... What I really meant to say was unless you high jack someone's brain/nervous system... It isn't mind control... And it doesn't exist... I understand the confusion now
And we mostly run on autopilot and actually have very little control over our actions anyways... We just think we do... Our brains actually trick us into thinking we have control... So in a way out Brian mind control (that maybe the dumbest thing I have ever said )
They also can control coach roaches but I am sure you already knew that... Mind control isn't that far away... At least I don't think it is (probably 100 to 200 years away would be my guess) but I mean we will probably not use it. I hope
No mind control for humans that has been revealed to the general public... But my source is dark matters twisted but true... As for the idea that no mind control exists broadens that... Is an opinion, suggestion is powerful and social contructs are powerful, but that is a sir bail thing Becuase we want to stay part of the pack... It isn't true mind control and if people were educated to create informed opinions on things there would be no need for advertising... Brain washing is powerful tho... It's just not mind control... The person is willing doing things you tell them... True mind control would be forcing them against their will to do something.:. Like kill someone even if the person is naturally a pacifist
+Conrad Korbol not sure what you were going about "someone nervous system no mind control" perhaps you could cite the original link source or something?
Also save your brother even if he is an asshole and it's not for the good of society and really he is just bad is going against personal interest and the interest of society
Well first off our idea of conscience is largely due to survival... But I was saying what I think he meant... Not that it was a valid point... The guy is clearly an idiotic atheist who thinks all religion is bad and Does no good (which is ironically ver religious) but other than actually high jackingSomeone nervous system no mind control actually exists and they have basic mind control already... Is was invented in the 1920-1940 and it controlled people's emotions and could stop a bull in its tracks but the government destroyed and the research so it wouldn't fall in the wrongHands.... But what is recovered is being used to help seizures and other such Brian chemistry problems... Anyways that's my opinion and some facts... That's what I meant by my earlier comment I was trying to say what he was saying
+Conrad Korbol i thought +Fuk You's point of mind control is anything that "compels" you to act against absolute personal choice. "why do you save your brother?" "because he's my brother"-- really doesn't matter whether it's force of "good" or "evil". thus even conscience is a form of mind control if you will
I am not positive but I believe loyality to family is like how most (not all) people wouldn't turn their family in for minor crimes or how you will fight to protect family or not leave family etc.... Though I think more relevant point would be patriotism like with nazis or the japenese or the communist Chinese or Russians where the loyalty to ones country is against the persons own well being... Much like with more radicals in religion... It's not a good idea to be too loyal to anything
While this is partly true, a human's central nervous system is hundreds of times more complicated than a spider's, one factor being that a brain has millions more cells than the entire spider's body does. As a result it will be millions of years (if ever) that something like this could happen (naturally) to a human, though people might accelerate this process. When reading this keep in mind that it was written by a high school student.
