SCCA SFR Spec Miata Race 17 Thunderhill May 26, 2013
SCCA Jack Pine Sprints Spec Miata (part 1)
Group 4 of the SCCA Jack Pine Sprints at Brainerd International Raceway. Sept 31, 2013. The camera car is a Miata running in the SMT (Spec Miata, open Tire ...
not quite a truck its just the fucker was traveling in my blind spot. I saw
him, but he moved up slightly and I was going into a merge lane and he just
smacked into my fender. I couldn't see him at all. Thats why I was pissed.
Stupid GAY car sits so low. and only 40+ year old hippies drive them.
this is why I hate miatas they fucking suck becuz they are so small... and
one clipped my fender today. only 2 dents... but still...I couldn't even
see the lil thing and he was in the wrong lane. It hides perfect in ur
blind spot AND the roof is right below my side mirror. argh...
@gokartracer13 If he is ahead, he can brake whenever he wants within
reason. I consider breaking for that corkscrew within reason. Perhaps he
was trying to let the guy on the right ahead before entering the corner.
Unfortunate, but not uncommon by any means.
uhh, why did the black miata with red top brake check SO HARD well before
the crest?!?! i guess he freaked out at the yellow flag... it's the black's
car's fault for braking so hard so suddenly as he totally over reacted.
sorry you got punted so hard...
Wow, sounded like he was still balls deep in the throttle when hit you.
What an ass! He drives like shit, no anticipation whatsoever. In all
fairness though, Laguna is a super technical track. Miatas are bad ass!
I've raced for years....aint nothing you could have done about that one.
When racing....you go fast...you don't expect someone to "dead stop" on the
track....when that happens...cars go boom!
ok but this is racing. spec miata series is the biggest race series in the
united states. there could be 40+ cars in a race. I've been in one with
over 60. they are gay little cars though.
Did no one else notice the red car spun out right before the corkscrew?
Every one started braking short, including the black one that jammed the
fat one to the floor, causing this.
I really like when people make comments about racing or about automobiles
and have no idea what the hell they are talking about. That, by all means,
is unfortunate.
@DrDenisSaralho "Fix" it in what respect? Is the timing off? I am using the
enclosed (sealed) case that came with the GoPro camera. If you have
suggestions on how to fix the wind noise issue, I'm all ears! :)
