Nice concept
Horrible idea, try driving a forklift before designing one.
1. the back of the forklift extending to counter weight the load is
interesting, but the driver will have to always drive like its extended
making it pointless, because if he drove like it was retracted he would
likely kill someone by crashing into an aisle.
2. waaay too many moving parts, $1000 says it breaks in the first month and
costs to much to fix.
3. to many options, very few companies need an all in 1 forklift, if you
need to get pallets from racking buy a reach truck, if you need to load
lumber on trucks, buy a forklift
4. way to expensive
5. etc etc etc

+Hyperion Oh don't get me wrong, they'd have to remove a LOT of the bells and whistles, BUT it is very nice in some of the concepts.

Way too over complicated to truly be viable. We had enough issues with the
Crown RC5500s with all their sensors!

+Casey Borrowman really?... I work on them ( forklift tech) we have 4 units and barely any issues, had a traction motor encoder fail and a steering feedback encoder fail ... but overall they are tough machines , we put them thru hell here in south florida and so far so good!!

+MASTERUDY Castillo I've been 1 for 2 years now. this looks awesome. BUT forklifts aint built to look cool or be comfortable. they r for work. it would make me tired too lol

Looks good but driving with the load in front of you can block your vision

+Roberto Torres I was gonna say, ironically of all the things to not put on the hud...no wide view backup cam.Also I feel like the lifting up and down of the cabin would make some people seasick.

Nice concept. But as most companies are reluctant to maintain their
forklifts then one like this once its broken down will be too expensive to
fix.

+swedish gaming Eh there's plenty of materials you could make this out of that would be more than adequate. I mean even just steel would be fine. Lightweight is no concern since you kinda want the weight in a forklift. just heavy steel and some good thick lexan panels.There's a lot of kinda pointless stuff included though...like do the armrests really need to pneumatically raise?Also if you're going to do proximity sensors on the front ideally they would intelligently adapt to the load. Ie that wide pipe they would watch for things at the tips of the pipe. Otherwise I'd be worried about the pipe triggering it constantly. Overall it would probably better at this point for them to do something like this, but make it a driverless forklift.
