I have the same sofa and loveseat set. I have not looked underneath, but
the cushions tore along the seams 1 month after we purchased them. They
replaced the cushions. 1 month later, they replaced them again. Here it is
2 months later and the cushions have torn again at the seam. The furniture
store we purchased them from came and took pictures 2 weeks ago. The Ashley
rep took a week to respond to them, and said he wanted to research to see
if we were the only ones with this issue.

This sofa is made of 1/2" OSB ( Chipboard ) and 1x2" NO glue anywhere. as
you can see in the pictures not much pride was taken in making this
product, many MISSED airnails. I have fought with Ashley over this sofa and
I just thought I would share what kind of products they are putting out. I
would also encourage you to look up the ratings of Ashley Furniture before
you buy, you may be doing yourself a favor.

I have been a repair tech for Ashley furniture for 8+ years. And this is no
surprise. This is what you get when you buy mass produced furniture. They
sell the look. Not the quality. Do some research before you buy. No ones
fault but your own.

Well I can tell you all Ashley cares about is getting your money, they WILL
NOT issue a refund AT ALL. I also replaced my cushions at MY expence, 2.8
foam still a crappy sofa and WILL NEVER buy ASHLEY ever again.
