Now this is what I call a beautiful elevator, and if I ever were to visit A&M, I would definitely want to stop by and see this beautiful gem of an elevator, along with that late-1950's Otis you filmed earlier. As with the brand of this elevator, I'm thinking that this might be either an Otis or a Montgomery.

That is certainly interesting, because I've noticed that whenever I look up the Texas elevator records and if it's been done by an independent company, often it's not the company name listed, but the controller name, such as MCE, EC (Elevator Controls), Galaxy (GAL), CJA, or Smart-Rise.

+CaptainElevator42189 Well the elevator records show this was a CJ Anderson but I was unsure if they ever did complete installs. This was one awesome elevator for sure.

Thanks. You said you had another A&M vid once you reached that threshold. This is the OLD Heep building on central campus - not the newer one in West Campus. //hlknweb.tamu.edu/heep-laboratory-building Love the glimpse of the old tile in the hallway of this old corridor-style building. Those noises sound similar to electrical hum that would make me fear I was going to be electrocuted.
