Ten months later and I'm still the only one who's coming to watch this hilarious scene. Let me tell you as a musician that it is VERY difficult, unless you're tone deaf, to sing this out of tune. Band plays in F and she's singing in C. Gwen's ear would naturally want to gravitate to F with the band but she has to consciously force herself to stay in C. Hell of an acting job. Gwen Wells was a natural. R.I.P.

+Carlos Jurschik Yep, and Suleen sure was abused later, although that clip has been removed by YouTube where she has to strip down for the men against her will on the promise of a better job offer from Ned Beatty later. I recall walking out of the theater and saying, I've just watched a masterpiece.

+J Joe Townley she was fantastic. This scene reminds me a lot of the one in Fame. Looks like back then movies were made to warn young ladies to not approach the world of musicianship because they would be abused by men.
