+Jaw Tooth Hiya Brian. I found out about how some emissions from certain light sources actually mess up the Ego system of the cave when I was making my rounds with colleges. We always use to wear Carbide helmet lamps which is ok if your working coal but not if you want to preserve a cave. :-) Kiev

+1960gambitWe use to use two way radios for years until we got cell phones.  I have an amateur radio license and so does my wife.  I have a base station and a bunch of hand held units.  We used them from 1981.  We still use them but not as often.  We use repeators for long distance and simplex on the farm.  The radios were impressive untill cell phones came along.  I could use them to make phone calls long before there were cell phones and I would carry one with me all the time and the wife would call me on it when I was out doing inspections for the county.  It was great until cell phones came along.

+Jaw Tooth I hear you. There are times when I kind of wish I had a Facebook account to enter contests and whatnot, but I just let it go. It took me a very long time to get a cell phone simply because I didn`t want people to be able to get a hold of me whenever they wanted. I liked having the ability to just  "stay under the radar" if I chose to. However, I have kids and they need me, so I got a phone

+1960gambitI have had a Facebook account for a long time but sometimes I go months without getting on there.  Lately I've been putting up pictures on there and a video every once in a while.  My family tries to get me on facebook more to keep in touch.  Its hard to keep up with both sites and email.

+1960gambit We were there late at night and got the second to last tour so it wasnt very crowded. I have heard that it gets crowded down there and hard to film most of the time. Our tour guide told us we were lucky that we had a small group. Hey Scott, I put a video up on Facebook of a train going by a covered bridge and it has almost 6,000 views and 171 shares in less than 3 days! I have never got that many views on a video. I dont do much on facebook. Are you on there?
