LOL if I was running from the cops and they landed a light piece of plastic or aluminum in front of me I would drive right through it and laugh my ass off. Check this video out how eating pot cures cancer and that is the only reason its illegal because Israel cant make money on it. Israel did a study in the 60's that proved it cured cancer and buried it to start a campaign on demonize it. Wow... the junk people design! Engine failure = death. There's no capacity to auto-rotate with such small lifting rotors, especially with those vanes in the way. This would never be certified by the FAA. High disk loading = high fuel consumption. An FAA certified powerplant would never pass EPA requirements for a street vehicle. Maybe it can do lateral moves, but where does it's roll stability/control come from? This thing is pure fantasy.

my problem is mechanical, there needs to be one hell of a motor in that thing and the fan blades that lift it need to be like 2 if not 3 times larger to pull and push enough air downwards to achieve the desired lifts...each of which not displayed in this video and the size of the vehicle compared to the rotaries wouldn't have enough room in it to hold these two NEEDED items

OMG, This thing wold kill a person under it. What a joke... A hover craft (with current technology) cannot fly that high. I vote this one up to scam due to the poor graphics and no mention of who is building it and how they are going to protect people from the forces that lift that thing. No mention of its limitations.

The video is nice. But who designed the piece of crap hovercraft with no apron? By the way. A hovercraft can't fly higher than a couple of feet off the ground. One last thing. Did this "New" design get drawn up in 1955?

That's why you won't see flying cars until you see cars that drive themselves. Which is going to be within the next 20 years (given what the DARPA Grand Challenge has shown) .

@ExtremeDeepInvader10 in air u can have layers of flying directions then it makes crashing vitually impossible as long as the liftoff point isnt a traffic zone

Yeh, great and it'll only cost about 2 Mil per car. This isn't the first, but most other projects like this have been abandoned due to budgets.

This is just a video of my flying one of the cars in Arma 3 Life. it was a very sensitive vehicle to fly but it didn't take long to learn how to fly it well.
