Jason Terry averaged 15.8 points per game when the mavs won... I assume
when she says "almost 20" is the same as "almost 10" which is not that
inspiring now, is it?
Andrew Bynum's tenure with the Philadelphia 76ers has been a tumultuous ride for the club. Bynum, 25, has not played a single game this season and is being ...
Despite Bynum's lack of playing, the trade was absolutely the right move
for the Sixers. The trade gave them a legitimate shot at having a
superstar, and even if Bynum never plays again (for the Sixers or for any
team), the Sixers get off that treadmill of always getting a low playoff
seed without getting substantially better. You have to get worse to get
better in the NBA (by getting legit superstars) and Iguodala is not a
superstar, just a very good player. Sixers can build around Holiday now
"Can you blame Philly for getting involved in this".... For accepting Bynum
and giving up more for him, absolutely. When Philly got Bynum he was in a
box that said "fragile do not drop or shake" and the person delivering him
was impersonating Jim Carry in the opening scene of Ace Ventura. All joking
aside, my point is that Philly knew this guy was broken. Not only that he
was broken but if they asked anyone who watches BBall who will be out for a
full season next? 75% of ppl would say Bynum.
Chris Weber, Elton Brand, Mutombo(partial) Weber was just old. bad knees
and not what was needed to take Iverson back to the finals. Brand showed up
overweight and reminding us of his all pro days. He was consistently
mediocre and even when he lost weight his game play did not improve that
dramatically. Mutombo filled in well in his one year with us, and then
early the next season after resigning him we trade him to the Nets starting
a still present search for dominant big man.
MLB guaranteed contracts make sense because of pitching and batting
statistics go up and down year to year which would cause a lot of movement
among players also preventing players from getting a big contract after
outperforming their minor league contract. If no guaranteed contracts it
would give big markets a huge advantage. NBA guaranteed contracts make no
sense, because year to year statistics remain steady and injured players
don't care about coming back sometimes.
That fat piece of shit Bynum should be arrested for robbery. Then again, I
can't blame him for getting paid. The Sixers were stupid enough to trade
for Bynum. Why would you trade for an injury scrub? This is why Philly
hasn't won a title in any sport for a long time
Can you believe Andrew Bynum turned down a max deal with Orlando and now
won't even get close to a max deal? This clown at best will get a one year
max deal. More likely this clown will get a multi-year deal not even close
to the max deal offered.
Par for the course, as any Sixers fan knows. This is how Sixers free agents
work out, time after time after time. I hope Bynum can never play again, we
just set him for life with this years pay alone. Fuck him.
One of the worst? Still need time in my opinion swedishfish. The Lou Brock
trade in baseball is the second worst in sports. Babe Ruth is by far #1.
