What the Hell??? Surprised.. I mean youre the one who teaches about
throwing the SYSTEM in garbage
and pursuing your passion.. Curently im im the same situation as the
Guy..but im to leave my studies even though im in debt.. Its total fuckin
insanity to sacrifice 4 years without orientating and focusing completely
on my passion to me i see no other way becoming among the best and finding
your sense of completion. You should quit and focus on screenwriting, today
its more possible than ever internet communications ,infinité amounts of
study matérial thèse days. Be brave,we need risks and stressful
environnement to force us growing.

Courage to Quit College
UPDATE ON NOV. 14TH, 2015 - I've landed a job with my dream company, travelled the world, moved to Asia, and am living life. I want to show you that you can ...
I did it for about 2 and half years ago now i am free but i tried to get
job which is still quiet difficult because the application is either get
rejected or simply the employer doesn't to seem care although this give me
time to go somewhere that i not normally goes to so it benefit me in
certain way but also i need to plan a bit better overall its fine for me
good video.
Aniq, quitting college felt so liberating. I could finally feel happier and confident. But the year after I quit college, I struggled to find a DECENT job... I could only find part-time, low-wage jobs... But I kept pushing through it, knowing that this was the right choice, only because it felt right.2 years later (today), I am now the youngest employee/project manager in my company, with responsibilities greater than I could have imagined in this stage of my life. All I'm saying is, keep hustling. Keep going. You'll hit the jackpot. ;)Much love man
i fucking love you. i feel you on this 100%. the school system is broken.
just gotta get through high school, then im gonna explore this amazing
world. great video man :)
As long as you follow what truly excites you, you'll find out that this world is much more amazing than you ever thought!I'm not saying it's easy, but it is worth it. ;)Good luck!
Wow, I quit after my sophomore year too... You and I are the two crazy ones. ;) It's amazing where life takes you when you make decisions for yourself... :)

hey guys! this is 2nd Q & A Vid! hope u guys enjoy x Comment "I AM DA QUEEN" if u see this (; if you want me to do more video like this, please give this video a ...
For me, it is in area of music. I started playing when I was 8 and
continued until age of 15. By age 12 I was really tired of preparing for
contests and I was missing out on sports, hanging out with peers and it was
a really isolating activity. I believe that barely talking to people
actually made me socially behind and for ages I thought that it is simply
hardcore introverted personality. But once I start talking with people, I
tend to be the one who talks non-stop and enjoy it. Parents and teachers
told me that I would make a good musician but in truth, I DID NOT enjoy
being on the stage and in the end, can't really use this developed skill of
mine for anything productive. It's like training to be a better chess
player, you can become good but the gap between top people is so huge that
you are just not a competition. So, I think that one truly needs to take
into account their talents but up till now I have not found it, neither in
sports not professional career I pursue. That is why I signed up to martial
arts classes from January in addition to lifting. I need to keep trying
things out and maybe one day something will just click.
Today I quit basketball. I love the sport but I hate playing for my school.
My coach doesn't really coach us, he doesn't push us to get better, and my
teammates never show up to practice. Yesterday I showed up for practice and
no one else was there. Not even the coach. It's just not fun to me, and I
don't talk to anyone on my team either. I know it was pretty selfish
because I kinda mattered to the team, but I've played for years for the
school and I haven't enjoyed it a bit. The only thing I enjoyed was a
practice or two every once in a while. Not to mention our team had no
chance this year regardless of wether or not I played. Tons of people
aren't coming back next year that played, we lost seniors, and two people,
including myself, quit.
My problem is that i've played football since i was in 6th grade. This year
I finished my 11th grade season. This was by first year starting as a
offensive guard and defensive tackle. I'm also a team captain and i became
a 2nd team all-star (means they said i was one the top 8 offensive linemen,
and i'm only 200 lbs). I have numerous shoulder injuries, which run in the
family. My older brother played football and his shoulder injuries are so
bad that he can't even barbell bench press. At the point i'm at, i'm locked
in to the sport because people look up to me and the coaches really like
me. I like playing but i also want to have a long and competitive career in
powerlifting.
My track coach made a threat saying she would kick me off the team if i
went to my mom's house but it's mandatory because i'm 12 and my parents are
divorced. she made me cry and I want to quit but I don;t know what to say
because she is also my P.E teacher and I want to stay on her good side! She
doesn't let me go to my gymnastics practices... thus wasting my time with
my friends and doing what I love, and my dad's money! I told the woman at
the office at my school and she said my coach is attacking me because of my
situation and would take it up with the principal, I don't want to cause
trouble but what should I do?
I switched from soccer to basketball about two years ago. I enjoy both
sports but there is so much more to learn about basketball and I love that
challenge. My problem is I am always getting injured. Currently I have a
torn miniscus, torn rotator cuff, jumpers knee, shin splints, and plantar
fasceitus. I don't even want surgery anymore because as soon as I get out
of rehab I will tear something. And i dont want 9 months of muscle atrophy.
I like power lifting and have yet to get injured from it. Do I quit
basketball to stay healthy for powerlifting?
I'm so glad I watched this video. you put a lot of sense in my head that I
was scratching to find all season. I got mono this year(being a junior) and
it took me out. Im really tired of basketball and I am hopefully going to
be working at a nursing center full time soon. It's something I've always
wanted to do. This video really gave me some great advice. My parents don't
play sports and never know how to help me. Thanks a lot.
Hey im in a dilemma rn im in boxing but recently endless sparring have gave
me concussions i need help i dont wanna quit but feel my health is very
importsnt
That's the tricky thing with the DCP, it can either be the best or the
worst thing, mostly depending on how you luck out with people! I feel
really lucky my work colleagues, co-ordinators, managers (as well as
roommates and such) were all great.
I’ll tell you what. She’s not crazy. I’m currently a CP at the Boardwalk
and they treat us horribly. Just saying..:( I love it here and I’m going to
stick it out but it is not easy.
+Laura Cramer when I left they told me I would be and they wanted me to sign a payment plan and all of this paperwork. I didn't sign anything even though they tried to basically force me to stay in this room until I signed. I didnt and I never heard form them again. They auto-drafted one payment out of my account after i left but refunded it days later which makes me think they did not have the legal authority to do so.
I was not. I'm not sure if they've changed it or not, but I didn't have to pay anything after I left. Because they take the rent out of your paycheck they don't have any way of getting money from you. And if they do, I don't recall having to sign any type of agreement that states that you have to continue to pay. I'd ask the front office people just to make sure though!
Okay so I have a question, I am a current CP and I understand you not
feeling like you belong here because that's exactly how I feel.. I really
want to leave and I was wondering how your parents reacted when you told
them you quit. I am so scared to tell my parents because they spent so much
money to get me here. So yeah i'm just wondering... Thanks.
+Hailey Turner I understand exactly how you feel. I was the same way when I went away to college. Maybe try getting together with some of the people you work with on your days off and having fun at one of the parks. I would always try and use those days to at least spend half a day in one of the parks. Or, I know it sounds weird, go by yourself! I actually did that one time! It was actually really nice. I just walked through the shops on main street and got to have a leisurely day! Maybe just give it one more month and if you still feel the same, your parents will be more willing and understanding about you coming home. I was there 3 months before I finally just couldn't take it anymore. Just continue to let them know how you're feeling throughout your time there. Even if you just find one good person to be friends with and hang out with, that will make a big difference for you. I know it might be nerve wracking to ask if they want to hang out for the day, but I'm sure if the answer is yes, you'll have fun and it'll be a de-stresser for you!!
okay thanks! I mean the problem with me is that i dont exactly hate my job, i dont exactly hate my roommates or anything like that.. I just feel out of place and unhappy here. Thats the extent of it. And nobody really understands...
They were completely fine with it. They wanted what was best for me, and working in a place like that was probably the worst thing for me. Yea, it did cost them some money to get me there and back home, but they were just happy I was back honestly. They knew all what was going on during my time there, so they didn't have any problem with it. Have you been talking to your parents about your situation? If you haven't, you should! Just be brave and let them know how you're feeling. I know it makes us feel bad to have to ask them to come bring us home after they took all that effort to get us there, but in the end you really need to do what it best for you. With my situation, if Disney wouldn't have started throwing me all over the place to different resorts with crazy 5 AM shifts and really late shifts I probably would've stuck it out. But it's just like them, they bully you until you leave. And they honestly don't care if you leave. You can and will be replaced. But yea, just talk to your parents about you feelings and I'm sure they'll understand. They love you and got you there, so I'm sure it'll be okay! ^___^
I can completely relate, I worked for Disney 3 times, 2 out of the 3 were
successfully completed. Disney is not perfect; they treat their CMs like
doormats for the guests, to get their money and increase profits. Working
at Downtown Disney is way better than the resorts and parks but still
several of my fellow CMs were cursed at over silly things like a wheelchair
or a piece of over priced merchandise. Don't even get me started on the
poor souls that work at Magic Kingdom, they suffered most in my opinion. If
it were not for the fact that Disney controls SO MANY aspects of the
entertainment industry I'd leave them alone but alas, I want to work for
Marvel. Good luck in all of your future endeavors @keseyjo=)
Exactly! I wish the system weren't so corrupt. But unfortunately it is. So we just have to deal with it and move on. I thought about the fact that they control basically all of the entertainment world too while I was there, but honestly, it's not something I want to ever pursue or get into so I left. It was the best decision I ever made! I definitely learned how NOT to treat people while I was there, how nasty some of those people I worked with were to me was just wrong. I hope you get on with Marvel, that sounds awesome! Thanks so much for your positive comment! =D
Disney College Program: Why I Quit the DCP (and How)
I had a crazy hard decision to make between two dreams and unfortunately could only pick one. So I've explained what my choices were and why I ultimately ...
+Kaitlyn S they don't have major-specific programs. However, your major might have some influence as to which role they place you in. Example: hospitality majors have a better chance of working as concierge or at the front desk of a resort than non-hospitality majors, simply because they probably already have experience or knowledge in those.
In the DCP? Well if you participate in the fall program, getting Christmas off isn't going to happen. If you participate in the spring program, that usually runs January to May, so you wouldn't have to worry about it.
Went to college in my hometown back in '06-'10 at a community college. I
didn't finish because I didn't know what I wanted to do. All it did was
stressed me out and made me unhappy. I moved to different state and I
decided to give it another try at a community college, then I remember why
I didn't finish. Now I'm considering not going next semester. I have
student loan debt there's no escape from that. But I rather have sanity
than be stressed out and depressed.
I'm only a H.S graduate working with a carpenter right now and the guy told
me there will be a lot of" educated "people out there working in broken
buildings, leaking pipes, and with no electricity, his interpretation was
we don't have enough kids going into the trades and getting their hands
dirty figuratively speaking lol
I wanna be a filmmaker. And you inspire me a lot. I'll keep you in my mind
when I'm in college. Well..mabey ill be I'm collage. I dont know but all I
know right now is I REALLY don't wanna grow up. But I'll have to and it
might actually be awesome! Cause my childhood is just...terrible!
yeah, we may have unrealistic dreams like being a doctor, scientist, or
lawyer. However, as good as they are, reality is harsher than what people
think. Be yourself and go out there in life.
I also quit college, I'm better at working out my body/keeping myself in
shape than maintaining good grades. I never liked going to college, I
always felt unhappy going there.
