You know what mate, I'm not going near one of these engines ever again. This one ceased up on me after the first tank, piston and crankshaft totally locked up. I had this issue before and when it happens, not only does it leave you with having to use a hammer to free the piston from liner, but it also causes the starter shaft to break as well. So replacing this with a Force .18 Rear exhaust engine n giving it a bad review

jt did you know that force is rebadged of all new team infinity engines even the one your talking about. and by the way buddy it locks up because its a new tight full compressioned engine. if you think that was a killer, my triple tight ti .21 engine had to go through hell. it called new engine, full of coomperssion, tight just pry the flywheel how simple. it will wear out when the engine is properly broken in.

a great way to break in an engine fast and better than the manual is to close the lsn and open the hsn up the whole way and keep it with full throttle through 1 tank at around 20-230 degrees and keep it at high idle until the fuel is done than boom when the gas runs out ur done! just make sure that when the engine stops to have the piston at bottom dead center!

I think I know what I'm doing. And after breaking in how many engines, this is the only one that does it to me. Yes, New engines have high compression. But they should NOT lock up. This one was locked up so much that moving the flywheel wouldn't free'd it. You shouldn't have to do anything, even moving the flywheel to a new engine.

yo JT, youll be happy with the later version ti 18s. whats even better is the new ti .21 small block which makes the infinity 18 look weak. it uses the same dimensions of the 18s body case, carby but internal is like a monster. search it up, nice vid.
