Who doesn't love cute little PILL BUGS! You give them a little tap and they roll up into a tiny little ball! I loved watching my kids play with them and see the ...
I am glad I could be of some help. You'll have to tell me your name on IG or let me know on IG that you are the Jennie Houser on YT. It is so hard when so many use separate names on different accounts. I sure hope your hubby will be ok!
Thank u so much for taking the time in explaining this to me so well...luckily i'm a nurse so I do know when doctors are just plain full of it...the tick was only in him for about 3 hours before we saw it and went straight to the hospital!!! U probably don't realize it but u talk to me on Instagram too...I just use a different name!
Well the good news is, if your husband happened to be bitten by the type of tick that can carry Lyme, and if he does start showing symptoms of Lyme, or the Western Blot test reveals infection, then treatment, ADEQUATE treatment, will pretty much cure your husband (just make sure that, if Lyme is suspected or confirmed that they don't just do a couple weeks or even 30 days of treatment. READ, READ, and READ up on Lyme, if needed and find what they call a "Lyme literate" doctor who will aggressively treat your hubby so it is completely killed, or it can come back with a vengance)...it is people like me, who didn't realize that they were bitten and didn't show symptoms till a year later (plus back in 1991, in California, no doctor would have ever thought of Lyme disease when trying to diagnose my symptoms so it went for years unchecked, even in 1997 no one thought LYME! I didn't find out till 2012 even though I would have been infected in 1990!!!). I was actually treated, a full month, with Amoxycillin (I was pregnant so they couldn't treat my "illness" with anything stronger) so I did get a full month of antibiotic treatment...enough to clear up symptoms, but obviously not enough to rid me of Lyme. Do not just trust whatever any ol' doctor tells you, read up and become educated. Few doctors understand Lyme or even believe in Chronic Lyme but let me ask you this...if not treated adequately, does the Lyme bacteria just die off on their own? What happens to the Lyme bacteria that is still in one's system, with or without symptoms? Does it go away because some doctors don't understand it or believe that it can live on and rise up with a vengeance years later???? Be wary and learn! Hopefully it isn't a deer tick and everything is ok. But if it is Lyme, DON'T let any doctor be apathetic towards aggressive treatment. Get 5 2nd opinions if needed. Your life is pretty much over if it hits you hard! It takes your energy away. What can anyone do without energy...get it? What can one "do" without energy... not much!
That is what I understand...I never knew I was bitten by a tick but I got really sick about a yr after spending time in the woods in Old Lyme, CT, got well then got sick again in 97 till present. Tests showed antibodies for Lyme so it seems this is the case. No proof positive. There is nothing conclusive about getting Lyme from anything but a tick at this point. I'm curious why you'd ask? Thanks
I do really like this design but then again I like pretty much like all
your designs, to tell ya the truth. One thing that I TOTALLY AGREE with you
about is what you said about the "Hook Only" designs and how it reminds you
of crocheting instead of looming. Oh well I guess! I did want to ask you
about when you will create some designs on the Monster Tail? Until next
time! =)
Thanks so much! And yes, it is suppose to be Rainbow LOOM, not Rainbow Hook, but the designs are so pretty. I just finished my first Monster Tail design and will probably do a tutorial on it, though my 11 yr old doesn't care for it. She is a really harsh critic! I am having so much trouble grasping "how to" create monster tail designs. But I think I made around 75 bracelets and little critter figurines before ever trying my 1st design on the full loom. I've only made a handful of monster tail type designs..I guess I'll have to practice, practice, practice until it clicks! Hopefully tomorrow I can do the video and have it posted shortly, thereafter. :)
Thanks. I think my subscribers have been waiting for a simpler design from me. I noticed that the viewship of my other recent designs haven't been going up very fast... :( I don't know if they think the designs are not good or if I am making them too wide??? I also think that many are using their time making the hook only bracelets since that is mostly what is on Instagram right now...oh well, I don't think I'll be creating any of those too soon, I have no crochet background at all. I am trying to grasp the Monster Tail...Hopefully will have a tutorial on my 1st creation using the tail really soon!!!
