i`m from ireland,his accent was that of belfast,if people think he did a bad accent then they have no clue of the accents in ireland,

+Stargreened Yes and I also know what a Tyrone accent is and sounds like as I am from the North and know many from Cookstown especially and that is not a Cookstown accent or Tyrone accent...it is not a good accent in any sense...that said I love Brad Pitt just not his Irish accent...PEACE!!

I'm from the North, from Derry, went to uni in Belfast and have lived there, Brad Pitt as good as an actor as he is did a terrible accent...whatever part he was supposed to be from.

The question about knowing when it was "clicking" and "coming together", this film never ever came together. I was brad's stand-in and the entire film was a disaster, I felt bad for Brad, it wasnt' his fault, this was not the movie he signed on to. He's nice about it, it was all politics.

I'm 48 now so I guess I was 28 when I saw it...it worked for me ...clannad soundtrack boat chase scene but THAT said I was in retrospect garbled and emascaleted...but solid work by ford and Pitt nevertheless

Well I can tell you that if they're on my side than Wilde is on yours ^^ The Smiths are among my favorite bands of all times (they're up there in top 5 I guess) and I'd love to do a Music&Fiction video on them, if I manage to find enough material!

Wow. Listening to Irish poetry through an Italian accent is a fascinating auditory experience. Visually it would be a sunrise seen through stained glass windows, or a turning kaleidoscope held up to a neon light.
