Do I need to get insurance for each different certification that I have?
Like if i have a cert for ACE and another for NCSA, do I need to get 2
different insurance policies?
Hey man, I am currently in the process of obtaining my ACE certificate.
Currently working at YMCA working floor hours, my question is how long
should i train clients at the YMCA before its ok to become independent? I
would love to train clients at my house i already have the gym equipment.
Generally speaking the younger type of clients focusing on strength
training. Also how much is a reasonable price to charge per hour?
I would say don't go independent until you've trained the entire spectrum of who you intend to train on your own. If you only trained athletes and then wanted to train pregnant women on your own, who could you turn to? What experience do you have. Reasonable depends on region but $30-60/hr is pretty standard..at least in NJ
what should i major in in college to become a personal trainer? also is it
worth getting a doctorate to be a physical therapist? still not sure which
route to go in college
My friend is a pt he said its not worth the money and time to get a doctorate degree in pt. The pay is shit compared to the amount of money and time you put in
