DUDE! YOU'RE MY FAVORITE PERSON ON THIS FUGGIN PLANET RIGHT NOW! I LOVE YOUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!! I spent the $69.99, got home and installed, then cried, and died. Now that YOU have shown me this, AND IT WORKED..... IM DANCING AND LAUGHING(and playing D3!!) AND I CANT STOP! I played D1, and D2 for YEARS.... Your video helped get past the initial warning that I couldn't play the game but when it starts to load the game the screen will go white with a box in the middle telling me my video card is missing some features to make D3 work. And no matter what I do afterwards it stops D3 and returns me to my desktop. Any idea on how to fix this, if it even can be fixed?

Hi there, have you tried "D3max OutTurbo" (just do a Google search for it...)? On their website you can watch a smart free video explaining how to speed run Diablo 3. It made it easier for Pete to speed level in Diablo 3 and thus max out his character very fast. Hopefully it will help you as well...

Liked your video, but i have a problem on wich i can´t solve, and maybe you could help. I´m trying to bypass the "online" so that i can play the game once and for all. Can you help??? I have already tryed some links, but they have that sh*t "surveys", and basically i can´t reach anything.

Wont work on all computers. I have been writing back and forward with Blizzard, since ive been trying all possible things, and nothing works for me. My game starts loading, at the very best. But doesnt open. Blizz's advise: Wait a few weeks for next patch.

I have looked for this file that you speak of, D3prefs, in which I have the whole game downladed straight from my bnet account digitally. I even explored all files and folders relating to D3 and found no such file. Is there an alternative?

hey i did what you said and when i hit esc it goes to where it shows the giant head in the middle of the screen, and then the screen flashes twice and nothing happens. what should i do to make this work.

lol u guyz trying to find D3Prefs file by typing "D3Prefs"..... you only need to do is search (type "pref" only) then you will see D3Prefs file you dont have to do that press esc thing.. XD your welcome

You don't actually need to change hardware setting in that document, I had 4 and I left 4 , modifying only the disable filter thingie.. i recommend u leave it the way it is. .

they changed something this used to workbut now since Diablo is lunched from Blizzard it this method wont work...for me anyway :(

no the card would of been still really bad 1 or 2 years ago.I did have a radeon 4350 and that still would of been shit 2 years ago but if it is just for watching movies then thats ok but if it is for gaming then throw it away :-)

gday, a terminal is similar to the "command prompt" in windows. it is a very popular tool in linux as it's speed and efficiency is unparalleled in many tasks to interacting with some software in a gui environment by contrast. press Ctrl + Alt + T to open up a terminal in ubuntu :)

The vertical line symbol is called the 'pipe' symbol, so the command would be read as "lshw piped into grep VGA". Very nice video. I think adding a little education on old-timer UNIX nomenclature would make it even better.
