Yes you can, although they have to be pretty close with the regular antenna. You'd have to get an external antenna to get better signal.
Vintage KJBC and KYXX radio jingles and sign-off
The first jingles are from KJBC, 1150 AM, Midland recorded in 2000. The KYXX Jingle and DJ are from 1978. "92" actually refers to 920 KHZ AM, not 92 FM.
That's so awesome!!! I recently bought a blank 8 track with country music
recorded off the radio in 1978 as well (I dated some of the music; it
ranges from '73 to '78), but all the commercials and the DJ were cut out.
You just get a second or two of the DJ before it cuts out. There's nothing
but music on it. I listen to it all the time. And I love how the tape is
labeled "Country- Modern" and it's got music from the '70s on it hehe
Thanks! There is a station with old jazz and big band music in Bainbridge,
Ohio (WHKR 91.5 FM) that I think still uses vinyl records sometimes. I
listen to them on the internet.
I like that blue National shortwave receiver on that rack. Always wanted to
noodle around with one of them. Only piece of National equipment I have is
an NC66 portable.
yep, looks a lot like the station where I got my start in SC.. I can almost
smell that mix of vinyl and plastic that lets you know you are in a radio
station..

That happened to me once. I live in Brazil, there's no english speaking
radio in here, but I heard through my speakers a guy talking about clear
vision or something. I think it was a plane comunicating with some airport,
but it's very unlikely.

Programming this amazing radio is not for the novice. The dvd manual does
not clearly tell how to program the scanner. I found the internet to be
somewhat more useful in the programming. But after hours of fiddleing and
farting over the manual I decided to go back to the place of purchase and
pay.someone to program tbis thing.
The BC346XLT is a nice scanner , but it does have a minor bug in it's
firmware . While doing a direct search around the 10-meter Amateur band I
noticed it switched from AM to FM at 28 MHz when it should make the switch
over from AM to FM at 29.520 MHz .
This is just one of my first videos of my scanner setup. I have an audio wire going from the shed to my room connected to my sound system. It's not much of a ...
