I am a non believer. I have taken religious philosophy in college and looked at religion for a long time. Your argument does not hold water. To believe because it may be true and therefor will benefit you in the long run is not believing but rationalizing. I am a non believer because I can see no rational evidence that there is such a thing as God. Blind faith may be OK for you and millions but there are millions that believe in something else with the same (UN)rational faith, and there are millions that believe in nothing since they can see no rational reason to believe otherwise. Your faith because it may be true is no more correct than any of the others.
+Craig O'Connor I know in this world we live in it is hard to believe. I have always held to the thought that it is better to believe and find out it's not true than to not believe and find out it is. I do believe and have seen God's powers at work. Find a church home that you feel the spirit. Let your soul grow. Take small steps forward. May god bless you and lead you.
AMEN TOO!!! I am 70 now maybe not much longer until I go to Heaven. I"ll
see Jesus and then my Mom and Dad and numerous others I still love and
miss..
+Ellen McDonald Ellen, I'm 70, 70 is the new 50!! At 70 you are wiser and smarter than you have ever been. Use those smarts to teach the young around you, God knows they need it these days. Jim
+Ellen McDonald I know what you mean. I am almost 73 and would love to see my Son again, but not just right now because I would have to leave my Daughter..
I was there the day my momma went to heaven 3-4-12 passing with a sudden
heart attack. Looking forward to the day I get to see her again. R.I.P Lisa

+roberta meeks Amen you are exactly right and I know her heart was right with Jesus she said so, and just 24 hours earlier in the hospital she said that she was tired and sick of being in pain and in and out of the hospital all the time and she just wanted to 'go home'

You Must Believe In Spring - Tony Bennett and Bill Evans
From the album "Together Again" (1976). Lyrics: When lonely feelings chill The meadows of your mind, Just think if winter comes, Can spring be far behind?
Especially in New England, after this very long, cold snowy winter, so
difficult for so many of us–– I'm deeply grateful for this song; to Tony
Bennett, to Bill Evans, to composer Michel LeGrand and to lyricists, Alan
and Marilyn Bergman.
1. Bill Evans - Piano
Eddie Gomez - Bass
Eliot Zigmund - Drum
Tony Bennet - Vocal
2. Vocal Jazz
3. Blues
4. I like Tonny and Bill both. I found this track when I was searching for
jazz vocalist but i like piano more. Strange
Each time I dip into this well of soufulness I am reminded of the fragility
of life. How precious it is and how important it is to remain open to love
in all it's forms. thank you Bill for your kindness and understanding.
