Yea I recommend some brake wire. It's pretty thin and you can buy it in
rolls of like 50 ft for $5 at oRileys or any other automotive store. I also
recommend you put a switch on them too because it's real hard trying to
drive with lights pulsing everywhere lol. You can buy a switch with a
little red button on it and just cut the wire you got going from your subs
to the LEDs and slip the switch in between it so it can cut the power going
to the LEDs with a button.
The wires that come from the led strip has pos and neg. Put the pos into
the pos speaker terminal on the amp and the neg to the neg and just tighten
the bolt. When power goes to the subs they go to the leds too.
For 100$ theyre alright, id personally get something else
Led light bars pulsing with subs
I hooked up a couple 15" light bars to pulse with my subs.
D.I.Y - Install Pulsing LED Lights In Car
Now if you want them to pulse connect the positive to one of the speaker wires which will be grey purple white or green always keep the ground connected to the ...
Mate you don't connect them up to the head unit! you need to run the wires
through the car to the back where the amp is. then unclip your sub wires
and twist the positive around one and then twist the negative around the
other. now plug them back in and try it. the power going to the sub goes to
the lights as well. therefor you get light at low sound and it is really
bright at half power or max power. this is how they make it look good and
bright.
I got some 8in LEDs for my trans am and connected them to my light switch
so when ever I turn my lights on the LEDs turn on that way your not going
into your stereo and messing with your wires.
Just out of curiosity why did you choose to use superbrightleds.com when
there are soo many other inexpensive lights? I'm contemplating on where to
buy my lights from.
