Any idea why there tend to be so many stopped trains on the mainline in
your region? I hardly ever see that in the Pittsburgh region on CSX and
NS, except in areas where CSX goes to one track.
+Pittsburgh Mainline Productions well, a lot is caused by the hanover street tunnel which is the gateway to the north (east) and single track. also, many trains are going into terminals within Baltimore city, so they often have to stand by for their turn to enter. that's what I've observed. there may be more to it, but thats what it seems like
