Gotta love made up stats... I crossed shopped this with the luxury brands and this has everything they have (and even more, like the panoramic sunroof, nicer nav setup) at a bargain. Fit and finish were just as good. Also, they have 5 year/60k miles bumper to bumper, 10 year/100k miles powertrain, 7 years/unlimited miles anti-perforation and 5 years/unlimited miles roadside assistance. No other brand can touch it. Salesmen from other brands even commented on that... I guess I'm the 1 out of 10.

Hyundai is a VERY respectable brand. They are a great company-- In times of the economic downfall, they let other SEVERAL car companies use the very first globalized-standard carbon combustion engine, AKA the Theta II and several other variants of it. GM especially relied on Hyundai. Not only that, BMW is in talks with Hyundai about engines, and Hyundai created a VERY powerful engine with little input.

So if you and I both sold apples and I sold more than you and made more of a profit and had more of a global market share in their respected segments, you'd still think that doesn't matter? Each car brand has their own thing that theyre good at and as it stands now, Hyundai has been built up to become one of the most versatile and RESPECTABLE brands. i.e. becoming the 3 largest import brand. hmmm audi/volkswagen still hasnt accomplished that. wheres your respectability now bitch?

It doesn't need a Benz badge for it to sell, it's going to sell like hot cakes. Hyundai has been on a climb like no other and every worthy car manufacturer is crapping their pants. Hence, Benz to be the first to purchase the Hyundai Genesis...following Lexus LOL...they are skeerrrddddd...Go Hyundai! There's no denying.

Yeah, it's not horrible, like Hyundais of before, but it is still a bit bad for leasing figures. Unless your dealer offers incentives, leasing is almost always off the table for the Genesis sedan when compared to its direct competition...which is why they recently pushed the 0% for 60 months offer.

no its not. When chrysler was bought out by mercedes-benz, MB had alot to do with the redesigns, but the grand cherokee and durango only share the platform with the new Mercedes-Benz ML. They have ABSOLUTELY nothing to with the santa fe or hyundai

I don't remember the exact numbers, but the re-sale value on the Genesis and the Coupe weren't bad, but not that good either. Still, mass-produced cars always lose value (ie. 2009 BMW 7-series, 80k-100k new, 3 years later, 20-30k).

"inside the top!" LOL, nice English... First of all, if you even have any idea, the Long wheelbase Santa Fe is a modified edition of the original Santa Fe, and the length is just extended around 5 inches.

They may not be shitting themselves, but you have to admit that Hyundai is squeezing it's way into becoming a mega-successful car company. A new Genesis line could definitely harm Mercedes Benz and Lexus.

+Brian NZ Navigation is standard. Do some research. The only thing not standard that you listed is multi DVD through the Theatre option. That's reasonable as one who doesn't plan on being chauffeured can opt not to have that in the back seats.
