Okay, let me tell you the bad first: The box looks horribly mangled, piece keep falling off (you could have done more than one take) it takes forever to assemble the pieces and then hold them in place to make what you call a 'movement'. It just feels like it's going to fall apart any second. In my opinion, you destroyed a good set of etched brass panels. The music could be better. You should make the music loop, not end abruptly like it does. A little editing with the mp3 file would do that.

excellent work but I think the time 2 make it go from cube 2 diamond (leviathan) would B the 1 2 do using magnets. 2 make this one right U need 2 go to a CNC forum & learn how2 build & use a CNC mill with a 4th axis. then make it with pins & tubes like K&S makes and sells cheaply, the pins will not let it fall apart & magnets can still B used inside 2 B sure they stay in place. with machine work the falling apart & looking "crappy" as others put it would be eliminated. U have what it takes.

The good? it probably took you a LONG time to make that contraption, and a good deal of brain-wracking, and for that I give you credit. But I don't think anyone else would ever be able to use that box, because you're probably the only person who can figure out where the bits fit when they fly all over the place. It was a nice effort though, but still, it's cheaper and looks infintely better to have 2 boxes for each movement, Pyramid and Star.

i have to commend u... this is the closest thing us fans have.... but with all those little pieces i wouldnt buy one.. .and i would get frustrated and throw it across the room... if u could figure out a way to stop it from falling apart then this would be really kewl....

i couldnt do this but thats a hack job, definitely not a consumer product. the pieces would get lost, it falls apart and if it fell apart into too many pieces not many people would be able to figure out how to put it back together. nice try tho

I actually was thinking of doing something with magnets too. I think with some real work someone could do it with some electro-magnets that are computer controlled. Nice work!

Really confused on why so many down votes and negative comments. This is cool at hell! I love it. Overpriced, sure, but it's really pretty and is of course a collectors piece. And no...you can't open it...I don't think there are any "real" Lemarchand Configurations...

+Jackie Rendon That's semantics. Obviously it's not a puzzle either. In the movie it opens, it is a puzzle box, that's the layman's name for it at least in the films. So, perhaps out of context, these are cubes... It would be weird to refer to them as such.Although technically, it's the Lamentation Configuration, bitches.
