or factory intake with a fancy filter,may wanna think up a shroud for that your gonna pull hot air from right beside a 200 degree engine,those piston rings won't last long either unless you plan on adding a header/exaust

No, you are looking at its standard length; I don't imagine it would fit if you chose to remove your MAF sensor. In a modern car like this, the MAF sensor is such a substantial part of engine management that bypassing it would likely cause the car to default to a "limp mode" (so to speak). In my experience, trying to run the 2.0 without MAF sensor input just won't fly...can't even keep an idle RPM +/- 300. Overall, I am quite happy with this intake.

been thinking about getting this for my 2.0, but what do you do about the rain? Everybody says you have to take it off in the rain. where I live, it rains fairly often. Is it a pain in the *ss to get off?

Has this cause you any fuel/air mixture issues or engine light issues? Any problems with rain getting to it? Did anybody notice that flash at :23? What was that?

I have a MK4 im looking at this intake. It doesnt look like you bypassed the MAFS, did you need to cut the intake to make this possible?

I'm trying to find the pcv breather tube 

vw jetta 1.8t with cold air intake

here are two cars with the same engine. The sound of the jetta totally changed after putting a cold air intake on it.

+Direct #bye i had same with my 1.8t your dv is not opening all the way thats why it flutters . best is to buy a forge 008 divertervalve.
