No, you are looking at its standard length; I don't imagine it would fit if
you chose to remove your MAF sensor. In a modern car like this, the MAF
sensor is such a substantial part of engine management that bypassing it
would likely cause the car to default to a "limp mode" (so to speak). In my
experience, trying to run the 2.0 without MAF sensor input just won't
fly...can't even keep an idle RPM +/- 300. Overall, I am quite happy with
this intake.
been thinking about getting this for my 2.0, but what do you do about the
rain? Everybody says you have to take it off in the rain. where I live, it
rains fairly often. Is it a pain in the *ss to get off?
Has this cause you any fuel/air mixture issues or engine light issues? Any
problems with rain getting to it? Did anybody notice that flash at :23?
