The DRL Bypass will simply eliminate the DRL's. Therefore, no flickering is present when running HID's. The DRL Bypass w/ Relay Harness is completely 100% ...
Does anyone know if they make these for Subaru b9 tribecas? I have dtrl's
and they automatically turn on and there's no way to turn them off. My
dtrl's are the same bulb as my low beams. I'm gonna install hids to it and
the only way they will work is if I keep my low beams on all the time.
Which I dnt mind but if there's a way to get rid of dtrl's I'll do it. Oh
and there's no fuse to pull out for dtrl's which sucks ass for me. I'll
gladly appreciate any help.
@Reikobaby Unfortunately, that's a common misconception about my DRL
Bypass. Allow me to explain: I build an electronic circuit specifically
designed to eliminate the DRL signal. I then construct this circuit within
a 9006 HID Relay Harness--Hence, why they look similar to a standard relay
harness. In other words, I provide a "modded" relay harness that is
designed to bypass the DRL's. A standard relay harness alone will NOT
eliminate the DRL signal.
@Reikobaby Yes, my DRL Bypass is also 100% compatible with Stock OEM
(halogen) Bulbs. If you hear a buzzing sound from your HID's, then that is
simply electronic noise. Mine do the same but they become almost inaudible
after a few min. If you hear a constant clicking from the Relay, that is
due to the DRL's. With my DRL Bypass installed, you will not hear any
constant clicking coming from the relay.
Ok I need some of these!!! Got the same car as the second silver one and I
installed LED lightning eyes wired into the parking lights. I dont want the
drls on for the first setting on the light switch. Im also going to install
an HID conversion kit and I dont want them to come on unless I turn the
switch to the far position!!! Thanks man!!!
@heymynameisjae Yup I did that as well, and I saw that the driver's HID
bulb doesn't fasten all the way like the passenger one does, I thought that
it might be a defect so I switched the bulbs but it's the same,so I just
tightened it as much as it could so it doesn't become loose and just
aligned it with the other one.
@heymynameisjae Oh ok I got you, thanks for the info, the funny thing is
when I installed the HIDs, I had to adjust the driver's headlight beam
because it was too low and to the right compared to the passenger side
headlight, it took forever but I finally aligned it evenly with the other
one
I have HIDs on my Lancer GTS too from DDMTuning also with the DRL bypass
and everything works perfect but there is no cut-off line and there is some
glare, but when I put the stock halogens in there is a cut-off line, anyone
else have this issue?
@Rosarionikko93 A standard 9006 Relay Harness alone will not disable the
DRL's. I construct an electronic circuit designed to eliminate the DRL
signal. I then build this circuit within a Relay Harness; Hence, DRL Bypass
w/ Relay Harness.
I bought this product last week, and I just receved it this morning, and
had it installed after lunch. AND THIS RELAY WORKS!!!! INSTANT RESULTS
SUPER EASY TO INSTALL now I can drive my lancer without any flickering from
my HIDS =D
@MitchDaSnitch Because the headlight reflector is designed for the
Halogens, installing HID's will evidently produce more light intensity and
scattered light. You can reduce the glare by lowering the alignment of your
Low Beams.
@Reikobaby I do provide the DRL Bypass w/ Relay Harness and jrox is my eBay
ID. Yes, the DRL Bypass is guaranteed to bypass the DRL's. In the special
case that it does not, I do offer a 30-day return/exchange policy. =)
hey can someone help me I just get my dtl bypass kit but my question is do
I put the fuse for my dtl back or not but now my lancer s light are working
but something's one light don't turn on is the passenger side
@litof430 Yes, my DRL Bypass should work no problem. I construct an
electronic circuit designed to eliminate the DRL signal. I then build this
circuit within a Relay Harness. You can find me on eBay. =)
@litof430 Sent you a PM. One of the best perks of my DRL bypass is that
it's 100% Plug & Play. Therefore, in the case you have to bring your X to
the dealer, simply remove the DRL Bypass. EZ SQUEEZY :D
@heymynameisjae where/how can i find you? i really dont like driving with
my h.i.d's on in the daytime n the flickering is starting 2 annoy me. will
it void n e warranty from the dealer?
The Foglights are completely independent from the Low Beams. You can
operate the Low Beams without the Foglights. The Foglights can only be
turned ON if the Low Beams are ON (as normal).

+Anthony theofiledes thanks man, and also thanks for ur videos, they made this process easy for me since I've never done them before, however I'm thinking about oppening the lens and putting more glue because it gets foggy inside
+Juan Campos i do the realay but there are these new ones on Amazon i want to try i cant think of the name they are some slim ones that they are 55w ac if u look for then they are like 70 dollors to 90 they should be worth it
the headlight assembly were great the hid not so much i switched them out for slim ones that w r re 55w. i saw your post i zip tie all my plugs together and use dielectric grease at ever point and u have to mount stuff so it doesnt get too wet or shake
