For our Outlander SportI bought the cosworth drop in high flow filter (no oil), same as for the EVO X, and have run nothing but full synthetic oil, recently switching to Mobil 1 Full synthetic, and the thing now pulls pretty decently, even in normal D. Also when merging off of a line, we are using the paddle shifters for a fast pull and quicker to get into MIVEC. Using the paddle shifters was recommended and confirmed, as it doesn't bring on the eco light AND allows you to stay more in MIVEC.

Haha...again I think it's super funny that many of you say i don't know anything. You know what...i don't know as much as some guys...but i do know more then most girls. At least i can work on my own car. Sometimes people get nervous in front of camera and fuck up...it's human nature. We just bought our outlander sport se fully loaded with Rockford fosgate nine speaker system with sub, full navigation, and full panoramic roof hids heated seats and regenerating brakes for less than a crv with heated seats. Plus it handled thick snow the best!

I don't think I would buy one at any point in time. Outlanders are good vehicles, but not great, they have a lot of weak spots and their lack of power is kind of disappointing. Plus what model has a stickshift in it?
