I admire Milt Pappas keeping his cool after the ball four was called. Most pitchers would of fallen apart mentally and emotionally and as a result, causing the game to go down the drain even with the eight run lead in the ninth...

Actually, he lost it in the 7th inning. MLB ruled that the error would've been a hit had he gotten a no-hitter.

+KWCline91 Actually the MLB never changed it to a hit they were just talking to talk. If it was a hit they would change it no matter the outcome of the game. To this day that game only recorded 1 hit for YU.

its kinda stupid that mlb can change a ruling after a game, all stats should be final after the game ends. such as changing a error into a base hit the day after it happens, which happens all the time.
