Carole +Big Cat Rescue ... i just saw the Paw Project on NetFlix... it was so sad.. thank you for mentioning that. we are human we all make mistakes what we think is good for them may not to be. i am glad that you added that piece in about in the 90s that you didnt know that it wasnt a good thing... .. also im so saddened to hear about canyon.. please made a tribute video he was my fav of the big lil cats

+Alicia Grass in the early years we did not have any one but breeders to learn from and we made a lot of mistakes. We quickly learned from those mistakes and changed how we did things. We now use those early mistakes as a way of teaching others. Wonderful people, LIKE YOU, are the ones who ARE Helping Make A Difference!!!!

Am I the only one who has trouble hearing these videos? The voiceover ones are just fine, but the ones like this are very low. I tried it on two different devices, in case that was the problem, but it was low on both.

Thanks to YOU for what you do for the cats. I can't understand how human beings can be so mean to animals! Declawing! Keeping them as objects to show around! Using them to have fun and make money, like they do in circuses, photo sessions with cubs, etc! This is unbearable to me. On the other hand there are people like you, always wondering about the best way to keep them happy and healthy. I wish you and all the cats a very very merry Christmas and a wonderful new year, with all my heart

Noticed his tail dragging on the ground at the beginning of the video, and for a short clip near the end he actually was lifting his tail off the ground as he walked. I would take that as a good sign. I'm glad that this video had a running educational commentary on what you are doing and why you were doing it. I encourage you to continue focusing on the educational nature of your commentary. The goals of these videos is to attract viewers, maintain viewers, educate viewers, and ultimately to add voices to the cause. The more voices we can get to join with us in speaking up for these animals, the better. Keep it up!

i know y'all know better now but i'm curious as to what your reasoning was to have him declawed. i must say i was quite shocked to hear y'all did this to him. i had to rewind the video to make sure i heard it correctly.

+emeraldisle13 waaaayyyy back then there was no one to learn from except breeders and exotic pet owners and sadly we believed all their hype. We wanted so badly to protect and save the cats that we listened to all those lies and as a result we made a lot of mistakes that haunt us today. As soon as we learned better we did better. Once we figured out that all those things were wrong we stopped doing them and starting educating others on the new things we had learned. That earned us some enemies among the people who did not want to change their ways of seeing and doing things. I think, "born the wrong sex" means he was not wanted by the people who had him before. They wanted a female & thats how he ended up at BCR.
