I'm a Texas traveller and I have been on Texas roads for many years . I went to Lockhart before . If you stayed on the right side of the highway with is SH 130, called Frontage Roads, your fine . Just follow the signs that Say U.S 183 South towards Lockhart. Don't get on the freeway . Just stay on the Frontage road until SH 130 overlap towards southwest towards Seguin/San Antonio.

the only (toll) road where you can go over 65 mph legally in the Houston 8 county area. Texas Toll 99 @ 70 mph from I-10 to US 290 in Katy.

+bigrider2806 In the United States we have "the right to remain silent" its our 5th amendment to the constitution. This allows us to only answer question we want. Also we don't have to give I.D. unless the officer can articulate that we have committed a crime or about to commit one. In the loose terms all the boarder patrol can do is ask if we are a citizen. If they suspect us of not being a citizen then its a crime and they can detain us. What the videos don't show is boarder patrol has the right to turn you away. Some take it to far. DUI checkpoints are just to make sure citizens are not drinking beyond that police don't have the authority to do anything else unless they can articulate reasonable suspension of a crime.
