How to address book outlook 2007 Videos

Hi, thanks for the video. I am having trouble with setting up the contacts, so when I search a contact to add in a email they show as Smith, John Instead they show as John Smith, so when I search for someone I have to search by first name, rather than last. In my university, I got used to searching my last name, since a lot of people have the same first name. But now, I no longer have that email, and don't know how to set it up anymore. Please help!!!
