Made me laugh, then I had an idea, cows are cautious but curious, they
probably will have spotted it come down and after a few minutes (if it
stays down) will go over to investigate, when a quad comes down near cows
start a time-lapse video covering the field and then sped up watch where
the cows go about ten minutes after start, especially any that circle round
the same spot.

+Swiss RC Mobius or similar at the launch site, the cows should be fairly visible from a distance on the A lens, then replay it back and forth. The first few minutes are the critical ones, but even after that another may investigate. Browsing Cows (no expert here) gradually move in one direction and don't circle one spot unless there is something to check. It's a silly idea but I suppose someone who does fly over livestock regularly might benefit from a replay. Of couse bluetooth locators like stick n find are easier ;-).

+powernumpty A very good idea, but how? A phantom flies for 25 mins, should be enough right? ;)I didnt think about that but I also wanted to find it right away... I'd never thought that it would take that long because the space wasn't too big and i was pretty sure that i knew where it went down... wasn't true though

echt spannend, ob die Kuh jetz drauf latscht oder nicht :)
Wir haben uns alle einen Loc8tor angeschafft, damit wird die Sucherei
wesentlich leichter (z.B. im Maisfeld sonst nicht zu finden).
Oder das GPS Modul für die Taranis, das übermittelt dann die (letzten)
Koordinaten und man kann mitm Handy suchen gehen...

It had some vibrations as you can see in the video, so i suppose, that the old battery connector came loose, because it was unplugged when i found it...
