I live in Durban and Durbanites can't drive to save their lives. When a robot is not working, you're suppose to treat it as a 4 way stop - but not here. Here you go for the duration that a robot would have been green. If you stop as you should, you get sworn and honked at. All the center white lines are faded, as the idiots can't keep left, and it's a miracle that there aren't thousands of head on collisions every day. They don't know what the ruling is when entering a circle, and the list goes on. If you should take 20 Durbanites and make them drive from to JHB to Pretoria , I would be very surprise if any of them will actually arrive at the destination without causing an major accident. Wake Up KZN DRIVERS, or did you all buy your licenses?

+Charmaine Sadly I have to agree about the 4 way stop when traffic lights are non-functional. People here just push through the intersection because the cant be bothered to wait their turns. If you look at some of my other videos you will see this very thing in action.

+Andrew Lundie Andrew, I travel this road every single day and every single day its same guys jumping the que that the rest of us have been waiting in for 20 minutes????? These guys actually create a traffic problem for people in the center lane because they stop traffic. They are the reason we all get stuck in a que and traffic does not flow. Would you let the guy in if you saw him doing this everyday? Or are you one of those who feel you are above the law and road rules do not apply to you?

What is the worst is the tow trucks on the Gateway turn off, they drive like hell on the emergency lane and very close too.

I have to agree with Thato here. I have been on both sides of this story. I have been the guy who feels that it's his right to sit in the traffic because I have waited patiently, and in turn I have become all bent out of sorts because of other drivers, and I have been the guy who has missed an offramp by accident and have tried to wait patiently for someone to let me in, and all those people who believe it's their right to be where they are because they waited all that time refuse to let me in again. Sadly... sometimes one has to push in because others will simply NOT let you in out of spite. I do think you are overreacting slayer1zn. The BMW was close to your car and thats scary, but what the video also shows is that you didn't leave much room for the BM to move in to start with... are you possibly one of those "I will NOT let you in because you should have waited like I did" type of people. Consider that maybe he realised he had to turn off at that offramp too late. Also, clearly your video shows you not once drop the legal required distance between your car and the one in front. The Amarok did a perfectly normal move, you were hardly moving there, and I do believe that you are being very oversensitive here - not sure why though.

Warren watch the video, I was in a que?????? that que is moving slowly. I travel this road every day. And every day not one or two, but hundreds of idiots cut the que. Because they feel they have the right to cut in front and not wait their turn like the rest of us. So what you are proposing is that I leave a 4 car gap in front of me, so that more idiots like you and Thato, can cut the que easier and bring all the traffic behind me to a stand still. I say again, would you act like that in a shop???? What if you chose the wrong que in the bank???? Are you going to go cut in front of the right one because you were already in a que??? Grow up. As for the Amarok driver, there was only a gap of 2 ft. You need to take the camera into account. I am guessing though, that you are one of these self entitled lighties ,running around in a car bought by daddy, who thinks he owns the road?? See I too can make character judgments based on thin air. Also that vibration as the idiot pushes his way in, is his car hitting my bullbar.

The only juvenile here is you friend. How is posting a video of bad driving insulting my country???? There are bad drivers all over the world so your point is moot. Secondly watch the video properly this time before standing on your soap box to preach. The lane I was in is a filter lane that people are queuing up for. The idiot in the BMW shot to the front of the que and forced his way in. The gap between my car and his was not even 10 mm. So what you are advocating is : That it is ok to cut people up and force your way into a que???? Would you do that in a shop???? or bank?????? Grow up man.
