@jabba12000 No, the times I see are accurate for where I live. It was 111
degrees today, and the elevation is 1500 ft (not a lot but combine it with
high temps and the D/A comes out to 5000-6000 ft) S2000s and G35s run mid
14s @ 95 here in the WINTER. In the summer, everything runs 15s, no joke.
Lightnings, LT1s, SRT4s, everything. Watch the RSX-S in my videos run 16.0s
@ 90 mph. He did that all night. And you're right, a raced-out 302 will do
better than 109.
@gtdrummerdude But Andy's coupe is literally a stock 1988 Mustang with an
800 dollar pair of Edelbrock heads bolted right on, Ford E cam (known for
being crappy) and a Trickflow intake. The entire car is stock besides that.
So 12.30 @ 110 mph is great here in Phoenix, AZ for a stock car with H/C/I.
I raced a turbo, intercooled G35 that beat me by the same amount as Andy's
Mustang when I raced him. Climate affects performance heavily.
Fully built? I don't think so. That 5.0 has MAYBE exhaust, intake, cam and
gears. I would say minor to intermediate bolt-ons, nothing more. I hang out
with a group of these foxes every saturday night and the guys that have
heads/cam/intake and gears even just on the stock 302 with full interior
and everything hit mid to low 12s @ 109 mph with slicks.
@gtdrummerdude 109 isn't a very good trap speed... and keep in mind that
that infinity coupe runs high 13's @ 100ish stock and it is running a
supercharger in this race which would easily put it in the 12's and easily
faster than 109 trap speed. Ford sucks cock get it thru your head! This is
a 5.0L v8 losing to a 3.5L v6
@ADDONRACER no but the simple fact that you cannot speak english shows that
you are likely not informed in any area including this one, but there are
way more factors saying its not a cts-v than saying it is, even a stock
cts-v vs modified cars of those models would not have lost as bad as the
one in the video
@jabba12000 High 13s @ 100 stock? LOL then why do I continually watch
handfuls of them run 14.5 @ 95 mph? 109 is a very good trap speed for a
street car. You are obviously a bench racer. Once you are building and
modifying your own car and racing it, i'd love to see you come back and
tell me 109 mph is slow.
OMG why are you even watching this then. You need to take your pessimistic,
What if this happend what if that happend attitude out of here. Racing at
the track is safer and hell everyone wants to know what their car will run
but I live in the moment and it sounds like you live for the moment.
@gtdrummerdude I don't care what you whatch people run. It should be
running faster than what you've seen. maybe you only see shit drivers idk.
But for a fully built 5L V8 109 is not very good and if you are seeing
people run low to mid 12s they should be trapping faster than 109.
ford is the junkiest automaker i know. their cars are poorly built and fall
apart easily (fact). 5.0 mustang is a child's car. they think it's kool
because they can cheaply modify a cheap car . no one in my entire family
owns a ford and they never would buy one.
@ADDONRACER well not only is the CTS-V by far the heaviest of the 3 cars
but if all 3 are modified likely the most powerful, but all I was saying is
this is a shitty video, the sound cut out n couldn't even tell if it was a
V or not
ehh, they help more than you think on a track. On the street the few tenths
they take off don't really apply because street racing is so inaccurate.
You need to be at least a full second faster to pull on the highway.
@ADDONRACER no but the simple fact that you cannot speak english shows that
you are likely not informed in any area including this one, but there are
way more things saying its not a cts-v than saying it is
this was not a real race, why? 1 you can hear the honks and the mustang get
on it for a second but then there is no sound 2 the caddy wouldve smoked
both
