Best Restaurants in Costa Rica - San Jose ALL IN 1 DAY!
The 6 Best Restaurants in San Jose, Costa Rica - ALL IN 1 DAY! That is the challenge for Adam Baker and Frog TV. This is a must see if you want to know where ...
Ok, thanks, that does help. I'll be there for a month and will go to less
elegant restaurants, more laid back style, but for a treat now and then I
will check out one or two, especially the Asian you recommend.
+Antony Keeble great that's sounds perfect. If you have time try to check out San Jose's famous central market which is over 100 years old. The 'sodas' (tico cafes) offer tasty, typical 'casado' lunches. Have a great trip!
Mmmm? ... don't really see the point of restaurant reviews without an idea
of average prices per head, but hey-ho maybe that's just me. Came across as
more advertising for the restaurants and free grub for Adam. All elegant
restaurants and obviously expensive, but I suspect not much use to the
majority of travelers.
+Antony Keeble Hey Antony, thanks for getting in touch with your thoughts. In fact you have a very good point! It is odd to think that no one else has bought this up. As with most places in Costa Rica dining prices tend to be the same as the US for good restaurants. These options reflect this. In most cases breakfast can vary from $5 to $25 depending on the café or restaurant you're at. Lunch and dinner vary as well depending on which place you choose to visit. A good starting point per person would be around $25 each with a glass of wine. For higher end options such as Grano de Oro or Park Café you can expect to pay anywhere from $40 to $80 per person depending on your choice of dishes and wine.I hope this helps, the restaurants selected here are restaurants we would recommend if you have the time when staying in the capital as they are a gastronomic delight. Adam @The CRV Team
Hey Adam, how many times did you get mugged??
You managed to put my friend, Xenia asleep within about 5 minutes. She was
fortunate to awake for your dance routine. Well Done.
Stick to tennis, buddy.
Bill in Panama
+Karen Mata Haha Thanks Bill! Trust you, I am glad she got to see the dancing at least! Best part of the video for sure ;-) Perhaps I will do the best tennis courts in Costa Rica next time! Adam
Soy costarricense, y aunque no tengo duda de que la comida en estos
restaurantes debe ser deliciosa, no son para nada la representación de la
comida tipica costarricense.
+Rebeca Stevens Hola Rebeca! Adam @the CRV Team
Great work, I love that these videos are promoting the capital's
restaurants, galleries, and museums. Others have given the capital such bad
reviews that tourist are now believing that there's nothing to do in San
Jose, when that's so clearly not the case.
+cpfishfan14 Hey cphfishfan14! We totally agree. Thanks for your great comments. San Jose is very much going through some what of an artistic and cultural revolution right now. Once you scratch the surface there really is plenty to see, experience and certainly taste as you can see. Warm Regards from CR!

Ed Koch: Tea Party a 'Vehicle for Anger'
Complete Premium video at: //fora.tv/series/92y_politics Former NYC mayor Ed Koch says the Tea Party is not a party, rather a vehicle for anger.
@etzel33 Personally I agree with Denmark and Norway myself. Highest tax on
the top 2% has made them the most equal and wealthy populations in the
world. Norway's 2/3 socialised oil has meant that money went to the people,
superb education and health, high skills. Denmark has just sold a huge new
North sea wind farm to the UK. Democratic, wealthy, very high standards of
living. Nowhere is perfect, but it's a much brighter, works brilliantly for
everyone. Unlike the miserable right's cynical junk.
@GardenVariety2 You just spout off a bunch of buzzwords, and you feel like
you made a useful comment? This is the problem with the rampant ignorance
in this country. People like you most likely have little, to no clue what
is actually going on in this country or the world, yet you just spout off a
bunch of buzzwords like communists, and suddenly you feel intelligent.
People like you are why these clowns in Washington and Wallstreet continue
to prosper. They tell you what to hate and you oblige.
Koch is absolutely right. See the Oscar documentary, "Inside Job." Also:
"The WARNING" on PBS Frontline. The crash was predicted by the Commodity
Futures Trading Commissioner, Brooksley Born. She tried to put in
regulations but was stopped cold by Alan Greenspan, Robert Rubin, and Larry
Summers. And finally, the terrific expose' "GRIFTOPIA" by Matt Taibbi, a
Rolling Stone journalist. I especially like his chapters on Goldman Sachs'
scams & on Greenspan, "The Biggest Asshole in the Universe"
@JAROSLAVAGINA By wealthiest I meant the most wealthy average, most equal.
& the highest standard of living. Also other indicators such as very low
crime, long vacations. Imagine kids growing up where neighbors are doctors,
musicians, engineers, scientists, teachers, where cooperatively & inclusive
development is taken for granted. It is more than just $. Helping pick each
other up works. Working together with dignity, fairness & sanity. Not at
war with harmful, ranting inequality mongers.
National defense is our biggest area of fiscal waste. If the Tea Party was
really concerned about fiscal responsibility, most of their political
muscle and rhetoric would be focused on cutting superfluous defense
spending FIRST. The fact that they devote more of their time and energy on
cutting teachers, cutting medical care and other programs traditionally
supported by liberals, demonstrates they are ignorant puppets of
corporations and are motivated by culture, NOT fiscal responsibility.
@etzel33 Koch does not believe the bankers should be taxed. All he said was
that was why people are angry. The tea party was used to support bankers
remember.. cynical manipulation by Koch scum. Do not believe a word this
inequality ranting shit says. Fuck the Kochs, tax the ultra rich back to
Earth orbit. The Kochs and the tea party are afraid of the anger of the
people. They lie. In Wisconsin people organize against the them. Tea party
is bank and corp lobby liars & creeps.
Was there even a single fact in what this clown said? If there was, I must
have missed it amidst the torrent of bullshit erupting from his mouth. And
what the fuck was that question about Jews? The Tea Party gets pretty
retarded when it comes to immigrants, but Jews? Come the fuck on. He might
as well have just said "ok, this is your queue to start bashing the Tea
Party, 1-2-3 go!" What a moronic video.
@ Squeege- No. I have always been against communism, socialism, anarchy
etc. You for some reason think you know me, "you have no clue." A little
presumptuous on your part. I just have a different opinion from you. You
resorted to the usual, calling someone clueless just because they disagree
with you. I thought America was about discussing our differences and woking
together.
Bush, Obama & the Fed caused this mess, and now every politician and
Ex-Politician who wants to get the crowd fired up just throws around some
jokes about tea partiers, witches, and then blames Wall St bankers. Ed Koch
is a lifelong self serving politician, don't assume he's some working class
hero!
@marsCubed I just agreed with the limited statement that he made. I agree
there's nothing to see there, just more propaganda from the right. I tend
to agree more with Iceland. They told the bankers to pound sand and now
they're considering throwing some of them in prison. I agree about the TP.
Most of the people I know who are in the Tea Party are just dissatisfied
with they're own lives and feel if they yell loud enough they will feel
better. Instead of working with the people in the community trying to make
positive changes. Because that might require an actual commitment.
If you hate socialism dont like the army the healthcare taxes or public
education they are all socialist types of infrastructure. every type has
its pros and cons. Thats why we need to stop arguing about who is best and
make a better more adapted form of government.
The Tea Party has always been against the bail outs for banks and business,
but for some reason the Left hates the Tea Party! I would think that the
Left would be happy that conservatives are not that sympathetic to big
business and big government!
I have been active in local tea parties and know others who are as well.
They are everyday people, many who are business owners and disagree
strongly with the direction of the Obama administration's direction
@GardenVariety2 That's right, just repeat irrelevant terms that Glen Beck
taught you. You also forgot to call the old man a 'Nazi' (even though he
probably fought them). You dumbfuck.
Shame on you Mr Koch. I think you must be talking about the democrats,
unions, socialists, communists, marxists, anarchists and the rest of those
protesting in Wisconsin recently.
@GardenVariety2 Well, communism, socialism, anarchy are about discussing
our differences and woking together. (Stalin wasn't a communist, just a
dictator who used the Revolution)
Atta boy Ed. Give 'em hell. He was a crappy mayor, but a good guy for the
most part. God forgive me, I thought he was dead. Judging by his shiner I'd
hate to see the other guy.
A regularory fine becuase the company did something the SEC bureaucrats
decided was bad, yet bond rating agencies that kept hyping this shit get
away scott free.
If the people are angry at politicians perhaps they should learn to listen
to the people and not be arrogant screw ups. Listen to the people and not
corperations
