The tiger will flee even if a pack of jackals confront it. The lion is by far the braver animal and is built for the purpose of protecting its pride. It fights knowing it has somehthing to protect, "ITS PRIDE" and that makes it a very dangerous beast in battle. I went on an excellent safari in Kenya in the Masai Mara. All wildlife admirers do not go to South Africa at all. There is a prolific lion breeding industry in S.Africa based on nothing other than profit, for canned lion hunts. With no conservation value as some lions are taken from the wild to strengthen the captive lions blood lines. Many cub petting zoos, are part of the canned hunts the cubs, when grown at about 3 yrs are killed in the canned hunts. This is not hunting, it is an execution.
