Ok let me get this right, Newer ford- vs Older Ram in wet grass/soil, this
fucking guy had a rapter and was still at a stalemate with the older weaker

Um first of all the raptor has less towing capacity than the standard f150. Also that's NOT a raptor. The raptor also doesn't have a turbo mortor. It has a 6.2 liter v8 (at least until next year when they release the Eco-raptor)

Impressive numbers, but simulated torture can't duplicate time. Components
degrade over time. You can simulate over 100,000 miles but the engine is
still new. Never the less, I like it. I drove a platinum and was not
impressed with the ecoboost. It wasn't slow but was nowhere near as quick
as I expected. the tundra 5.7 was way faster. I am thinking maybe something
was wrong with the demo I drove because the acceleration was not consistent
with the numbers that engine generates. Still I like it.

okay i know you ford fans are going to get mad but you take a standered
equitment ford f-150 with the 5.2 v8 vs the standered equitment ram 1500
with the 5.7 hemi the ram gets better m.p.g more hp and torque and can tow
more and thats all standard you dont gotta pay more i just think that would
be better but just sayin dont get all made but it is true a standard ram is
better then a standard ford and cost less same with diesel cummins is
standard on ram 3500 dont gotta pay more for a diesel....

ECOboost is nothing more than a sticker used to make more money. FYI while
the v6 CAN get better mpg than a V8 (but only if you never use the turbo)
once you use the turbo to get the power needed to match the V8's your turbo
drinks all of your gas making it cheaper just to use a V8 which always has
the power without the cost of tripling your fuel consumption. So if you
want a truck just so that you can say that you have one get an ECOboost but
if you want a truck to do its job get a proper V8.

Its quite impressive how a forced induction twin turbo V6 can match up to a
naturally aspirated V8... that said, the new f-150 puts up a good show
against the other brands. however, all these trucks have something to
offer; i would pick the dodge/ram for towing, ford for fuel economy (in a
truck lol), chevy as an all around good truck just isnt as capable the
others but still very much capable.

This is so rigged… frist thing mike row is there the spoks person for ford
second 2 nascars is like 5000-7000 pounds i am sure the max guessing is
5000-7000 witch would kill the mpg and you couldn't run it non stop all day
cause you need to refull. I love chevy and i know a chevy couldn't pull
that at 80 for 24hrs

Haters going to hate. Truth is Government Motors sucks, so does FiaDodge,
and Toyota can go back to Japan where they belong. The EcoBoost technology
is superior to anything on the market. Think of it as the next GNX, only
better. Ford trucks out sell everyone else for a reason, they are the best.

I have test drove the Ecoboost and the new dodge with the Hemi. Wont lie
the Ecoboost has alot of power because it is "twin turbo" but the Hemi is
still better in speed, acceleration, and pulling/towing.It all depends on
the driver, and then of course Ford will glorize their motor to sell

Ok the ecoboost might beat the chevy but not the dodge, its a ford made
advertisement or comparison the do it all the time with the enclosed
trailers not showing whats inside, the hemi clearly has better numbers its
against physics for the ford to win end of story...

this ecoboost is slammin' think again...the 5.3 only has a bit.over 300 hp,
so whats to brag about? funny they didn't bring the 6.0 or 6.2 gm or the

natural aspiration is a way to keep the life of the engine and of major
engine components. forced induction is a way of wearing down that life of
the engine. never will and never have ever trusted a ford. has more

Anytime a "company" does their own testing it is going to be taken with a
grain of salt. I mean look at the chev ads depicting the diesels. Same

Tundra is Awesome. Ford did not allow the Tundra to compete in this test
because they knew the ecoBoost would have lost. The Dodge lost this race
because it has a 5-speed tranny that is not geared that well.

+trevor cutts against a 6speed 6.2 it would prob be a pretty even race between the F150 and the Silverado. Guys are going VERY quick in the 8speed trucks though. Car and driver went 14.1 in loaded Escalade. A few guys on the forums have gone 13.8-14.0 in bone stock 6.2/8speed trucks. Pretty impressive.
