Trotting out Shaw's father was definitely a political move by Trump but so what? Immigration - both legal and illegal - is really the defining political issue of our time because it affects the very thing which controls our country: the population and voting. Immigration today is basically a way for people in non-productive societies to mooch off of productive ones and they get to vote for even more mooching once they get there. It's simply unsustainable. Trump asked the question no one else asked about it: "what do we get out of it?" No one has been able to sufficiently answer that question which is why he's doing so well and since it impacts blacks first then we absolutely have a legitimate reason for support.
