+VulpesVulpes42 Thanks dude, and welcome to the channel! I may be uploading more "Fairwell to Arms" episodes this year, so do stick around... and with regards to Finland, sure. Why not indeed.
Would loved to see you explaining the all the stuff what is going on in the
coat of arms. Like for example, why is there flowers, why is there 2 swords
and why is one of em below the lion.
P.s. ''knuckles the bear'' is the Coat of arms of the Republic of Karelia
a.k.a. a part of Russia and only that part can have it. Finland doesn't own
it.
*Finland's Retarded Lion*
Last week we reviewed the Argentinian coat of arms, and it didn't fare
well. This week things go from bad to worse as we critique
Finland. Includes a mini cartoon of Pixar quality, a look at my own drawing
skills and a painful blooper reel at the end.
Suggestions on what we cover next very welcome. Don't forget to tweet the
vid to Finland (details at the end) so they can put themselves right.

Mk10:2:And Pharisees came up and in order to test him asked,"Is it lawful
for a man to divorce his wife?"He answered them,"What did Moses command
you?"They said,"Moses allowed a man to write a certificate of divorce,and
to put her away. But Jesus said to them,"For your hardness of heart he wrote
you this commandment. But from the beginning of creation,'God made them male
and female. For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be
joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.
Remember that St. Paul was never married and he was no less of an apostle
because he was not married, on the contrary, his whole time was spent on
ministry. A married pastor has to spend time with his family and the needs
of his congregation. If you keep reading 1 Timothy 15 - St Paul says: "if I
am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s
household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation
of the truth. He didn't say the bible.
What about this quote from Jesus you don't understand? Matthew 5:32 "But I
say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, EXCEPT on the ground of
sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery......" ....... let not MAN
separate...... " .........NO MAN...... God is the only one that can
separate people, since he put them together in marriage It has to be for a
Biblical reason. Divorce ONLY for Godly grounds (Scriptural grounds) Both
parties MUST consult God for his direction.
There is no question that the early Church had married priests. The
DISCIPLINE of a celibate priesthood did not begin until the Second Lateran
Council in 1139. But the way I see it, St. Paul was LIMITING bishops and
deacons to be married ONLY ONCE to avoid scandal. He was not saying that
bishops and deacons MUST be married. St. Paul preferred that clergy be
celibate. Just because a teaching is not explicitly outlined in the Bible
does not mean it should not be followed.
I did not say that they have to be married. The scriptures says "married
only once", which means that they are allowed to be married. We can not
change what the Bible has stated long time ago. There is a reason the
Scriptures allowed it. If God allows it, The Vatican MUST allow it as well.
After all, they are supposed to represent God, right? You can not represent
God and not follow his words.
1 Timothy 4:3 condemns heresies like the Manichaeans and Albigensians which
said marriage is evil because the body is evil. Paul wasn't warning Timothy
about the Cathohlic discipline—after all, Paul himself followed it: Indeed,
I wish everyone to be as I am [celibate]...Now to the unmarried and to
widows I say, it is a good thing for them to remain as they are, as I do...
(1 Cor 7:1-2, 7-10)
Not allowing a priest to marry is not dogmatic or having to due with
morality. Its an act of obedience. Historically many bishops in the past
would use their families to keep power and the church dealt with this by
not allowing the priests and bishops to marry. In the Eastern catholic
church priests are allowed to marry. The pope could decide to make a change
in this matter at any time.
1 Timothy 3 (New Catholic Edition) "Now a BISHOP must be above reproach,
MARRIED ONLY ONCE........" "Let DEACONS be MARRIED ONLY ONCE, and let them
manage their children and their households well." Apostle Paul allowed
Bishops and Deacons to get married. It is quite a simple statement. It is
OK if people prefer to follow the Vatican rather than God's word. If that
is what they prefer.
What about this quote from Jesus you don't understand? "But from the
beginning of creation,'God made them male and female. For this reason a man
shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two
shall become one flesh, so then they are no longer two, but one flesh.
"Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate."
Thank you. Matthew 5:32 (KJV) - "But I say to you that everyone who
divorces his wife, EXCEPT on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her
commit adultery........" This was your question....... Should divorced
ministers be allowed to continue in their ministries since the bible
disallows divorce? The Bible does not disallow divorce.
I appreciate your reply. My question was... Since the Scriptures and
Apostle Paul allowed Bishops and Deacons to be married, The Vatican MUST
allow it to. After all The Vatican is supposed to represent God, right/ You
can not represent God and not follow his words?
I understand what you are saying. Please try to understand what I am
saying. Since the Bible allows priests to get married, including Bishops
and Deacons, why does the Vatican forbid them. Which is greater, The
Vatican OR God's word?
