+Ali Ansari Yeah the Jeeps aren't really built for Australian Climate, causes lots of issues, there are a few companies here that do full replacements of the cooling systems, for instance mine has a second radiator mounted behind the first, Starter going on this one though, just bad luck, considering where they were. LOL
Hi Guys I have had a sealed water cooled alternator fitted to my 70 series
troopy so won't be suffering the same alternator problems you had on the
Holland Track". It was $2400 but well worth it in my view!!!
+Jack Hayes .Hi Jack, to my knowledge SS autos in Wangara supply and fit those alternators as well as they stock and fit pillar pods and gauges for all models
+Ronny Dahl (4 Wheeling in W.A.) Hi Ronny, where did you find one of those alternators? I'm interested in putting one on the Lux but I can't find any source for them.
+Michael FitzGerald Since the Holland track I put a water cooled one in as well and so far so good. Worth the money too as it makes the 70 series 100% reliable for the most part.
+ROAD WARRIOR 1967 MUSTANG they are but they attract too much attention to the rest of the 'not allowed stuff' and wear too fast. We travel long distance here in AUS

video.
you guys would love the southwest united states. many ghost towns and
mining to be seen. if you ever get a chance check out el camino del
diablo. its an old road that the Spanish made back in the 1500s looking
for a route to the pacific from mexico. much of it is in Arizona with it
ending in Yuma Arizona.
if you do happen to make it out this way make sure its in the winter with summer temps being in the 120 to 140 F . however, on the other hand you have drug runners in the winter that will leave you for dead. ( on el camino del diablo) if you come get ahold of me here and we can set up a run. I bring firearms as do all my friends. ill grab the fzj and head out...
