Iphone 5 microphone sample rate Videos

I've owned both, the iphone it's a great phone, no doubt. It's simple, always works, and does what you want...but the s4 is far more interesting in my opinion. There's more you can do, and more free reign (I also like the setup of the google play store more than the apple app store). Both awesome phones, would recommend both.

It doesn't need to be better though. Samsung is making more than enough just from the failures of the iPhone. That's like saying it doesn't matter if Burger King is better b/c of they're Onion Rings, it still won't outsell McDonalds. Guess what they're still readily in business from the Onion Rings alone.

I used to be an iphone user but switched to Galaxy to try something different. You can do so much more on Galaxy that the two aren't even comparable. Buying apple is simply over paying for a logo.

Makes me think about my audiophile days. People are drawn to loudness rather than realistic audio. The IPhone 5 is better at pulling light into the scene. The audio has better tonal sound quality.

I think you need the better Video because I want to be able to see the cigar and the way it burns when you smoke it. The audio was better on S4 but it wasn't that much better than the Iphone 5

you normally have very good lighting in your videos, so i would prefer the Galaxy S4 video if you have good lighting. what is your goal with the phones instead of dslr or w/e you normally use?

if you're comparing just cameras, you're comparing apples to apples. if you're comparing the phones and all their capabilities, then you're comparing apple to a spoiled orange.

The iPhones video is better and even though the samsung's audio was louder it picked up way to much resonance and echo from the room.

S4 has much better audio and it seems to have a wider angle lense. Then again, iPhone image has more brightness. I'd take the S4.

iPhone stayed in focus better and the picture stayed brighter than the Samsung. As far as audio I couldn't notice a difference.

The iPhone definitely has the better video quality, especially in low-light. But the S4's audio was much better in my opinion.

Galaxy has way better audio, but much darker. The iPhone is much better video, but the audio is lower. Tough call I would say!

Both of them are pretty lousy sensors. That's how front facing cameras are right now. Difference is about the same.

some obvious active noise/hiss reduction in the apple video, you could tell it changed your voice tone a bit.

The iPhone mic is better but the Samsung video is more clear but it looks like the iPhone iso is higher

The Samsung seemed too dark when facing away from the window; both seemed to function well audio wise.

I have had limbsaver for years on every bow I have owned prior too 2 bows when I switched to bowjax your product helped some but no where near bojax...it is sponsor BS this study was a lie the tests I have seen has nothing to do with a iPhone.......have no idea this is a couple of decibel tests and vibration tests...this test is a lie....just like he promotes bowtech they used to be good now PSE is up top....and these tests were from normal ppl not sponsors.....all sponsored guys lie....this was a test on YouTube and my buddy is a cop and has a decibel devise for speaker violations and limbsaver is way off from bowjax I don't care I know the truth your product is still good.......Just not as good as bowjax

+Striper King Sorry you feel that way, Jim is a stand up guy.Also, this video is nearly 5 years old, and we are happy to say that our newest version of limb dampener, the Broadband Limbsaver, is even better than ever. Also, we can post updated data using an actual oscilloscope and NOT an iPhone or other device that does not have the capability to capture the entire process. We have seen the iPhone tests, and we believe what is being shown is mostly randomized data, as many of the programs available for download in the app store claim up to only 100hz for the internal gyroscope and/or accelerometer, and only up to 16khz for the microphone. At that rate, the accelerometer wouldn't be able to record data consistently. Comparing data from an iPhone app to the data recorded on proper equipment would be like comparing two factory workers in charge of inspecting every item on a conveyor belt, with one of them being able to check every single item and the other limited to about every 200th item, or so. But wait, why WOULDN'T an iPhone have the capability to sample at the rate that one would need for this experiment? Because the internal hardware that the iPhones use to measure movement and acceleration isn't meant to sample at 20-150khz rate needed. So, when these people show you data that they have collected on an iphone or android device, what you are really seeing is randomized data. I hope this helps to explain why Jim isn't a liar, and why come back from competitions with buckets of competitor stabilizers and limb dampeners. There is real science behind our products, and not simply a small machine shop and some iPhone data. :)

We've taken all the guess work out of buying by testing and evaluating all the top selling brands. It's what we do to make sure that our products are the best. However when I took the limbsaver superquad off my pse and added the monsterjax, that thing shut up, it quit moving in my hand, it's like it doesn't even know it's being fired. We will be coming out with videos in 2016 showing some upcoming tests comparing competitor products to our own.
