+Winsome Losesome yes, and how i'm sorry that you have his member in your mouth so often. then again, not everyone is like me in that i would rather and do instead eat pussy
+JCsTime JC yeah reza thinks that whatever you say about yourself then be it, how stupid, then if i say that i'm a math genius and you all can't understand my cleverness, while i can't even solve a basic math problem .... he is not a muslim, he just thinks that islam is just another ideology, and it's so ignorant the fact that he thinks that religion is a way of expressing one's self, when it's really not, i think he only believes there is a god; reza is not really a muslim, just saying that i'm a muslim, doesn't make me a muslim, just saying that i'am european while i'm african, that really doesn't change anything, anyways , there is just wayy to much flaws in reza's way of thinking...
+Chakravarti J Once again you've shot yourself in the foot. Not one single person in this thread has mentioned Jihad. It appears that you insist on having a conversation with yourself.
+Chakravarti J Because Islam is bullshit? How can you expect rights to protect your desire to act like a war criminal because of some fables an angel allegedly told Muhammad?

Conversations with Great Minds - Dr. Reza Aslan - Was Jesus a revolutionary?
Joining Thom for tonight's Conversation With Great Minds is Dr. Reza Aslan. Dr. Aslan is a critically acclaimed writer and religious scholar and currently serves ...
+Wolfgang Siegfried So a retard like you thinks someone isn't a great mind solely on the basis that he spent years in college honing his skills even though hi skill set may be considered obscure by some "small" minds? LOL - by that yardstick, you must probably think that someone who spends all his day in his mom's basement drinking beer, playing video games and eating pizza is a truly "great" mind!!! BTW, how's your mom's basement?
+Wolfgang Siegfried LOL. I'm pretty sure you're an expert on "low standards" seeing that your comments are retarded and you're probably sitting in your mom's basement!
+Wolfgang Siegfried lol.Give him credit for distinguishing between the man and God. Hopefully people can see this video and understand Jesus in a more accurate historical perspective of a revolutionary going against the grain. Not much more to it really on a transcendental level and all that
hmmm, ok . I see what your saying about him but may i ask what you, (keep in mind im not asking if its an "old story or his "ground breaking new research" ) may i ask, what specifically is it that you reject in the book zealot ?
facepalm1) The fact you can't see anything wrong with his qualifications you copy and pasted shows you haven't gone to University. Yes he has obviously spent time studying this field so he would know more than the average person. However he is in no way, shape or form an 'expert'. He isn't even considered a minor scholar by his peers. 2) You didn't provide me with any accredited peer review journals this so called 'great mind' has contributed to or featured in. P.S. don't even bother looking because there are none. 3) You fail to clarify why his work "Zealot" or any other book he has written isn't simply a rehash and spin of work from other actual scholars that have come before him. Protip; he isn't even a researcher let alone a 'ground-breaking' one,Seriously if all we had to do to be considered a 'great mind' was major in something from a different degree and then plagiarize work we would all be 'great minds'. This is what I mean by 'low standards'.
....so I see you THINK you can just laugh off his education because YOU find it 'frivolous' or what have you...... LOL....... right, you make LOT of sense......Aslan's degrees include a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Santa Clara University (Major focus: New Testament; Minor: Greek) , a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard University (Major focus: History of Religions), a PhD in the Sociology of Religions from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Iowa,
+realswhattheytellyou "Extensive education"? Lol what you mean his PhD in sociology specializing in "the history of religions"? HAHA. Why don't you go ahead and tell me all the peer reviewed journals that this "great mind" has contributed to or featured in...???I got some advice for you kid - look beyond the surface. Or you can be a gullible sheep thinking this guy is a 'respected scholar' (he isn't) and buy his book "Zealot" thinking it is something groundbreaking that has actual scholars jumping up and down in awe (Protip; it isn't.)
.... what exactly did he say that makes you say hes a speaker setting low standards, now lets remember his extensive education, which gives him more credibility thatn you, but lets hear what you mean by criticism, what did he say that makes him a speaker who meets "low standards" what did he say ??
Reza seems like a nice and genuine guy. He has extreme knowledge, but what
is knowledge without wisdom? He use to believe Christ was Lord but then
fell away as he studied it at school. So many scholars and people that
don't believe, dont believe because they they dont see "evidence" of Jesus
being Lord scientifically or historically ect. Ok Jesus says he is the
messiah and that doesn't mean God in jewish context. But what does "I am
the way the truth and the life" mean in jewish context? Or I am the Son of
God? Or healing the dead and sick, walking on water, taking on the sins of
the world, dying and rising from the dead mean in jewish context?...The
problem when one trys to find/prove God scientifically and historically is
that you can't. You cant scientifically or historically prove or disprove
the supernatural. When you look for evidence on paper you cut yourself off
from the channel in which you would find God, prove God and experience him
the most. Thats through losing your life to him, your soul! Your Heart.
Feeling that presence that words cant describe and you know is real. Then
you will need no proof of physical matter. I hope you have that one day
Dr. Aslan.

What provoked Reza Aslan to pursue religion is that together with Random
House he plagiarized & distorted a manuscript titled "No god but God" in
2005 & came out with a book of the same title. Having tasted the illicit
loot, he decided to concentrate on misrepresenting Islam under the
guardianship of Islamophobes.
Well, hes out there making you assholes look good, be happy about that. His
"misrepresentation" makes Islam look better, and people who ive seen be the
harshest vs Reza Aslan are islamists - makes me think Reza cant be that bad
afterall - hes a run of the mill liberal, a pretty ok guy I guess.
A lot of book titles are from previous books/manuscripts/quotes/poems. Is that really plagiarism? If it is, then aren't I plagiarizing oxford english dictionary right now?
