really. Funny the duramax (DMax) diesel engine was designed by gm AND Isuzu. not just Isuzu. because it's used in Isuzu vehicles in other countries. the block and heads are cast in Ohio. sooooo. where's your trucks engine made

It happen to every all different diesel engines Cummins, Powerstrokes, Duramax, and etc... I love Cummins, it is good engines but at my school we all have Cummins engine 5.9L on blue bird busses and Thomas Built buses quit at 100,000 miles so they have to purchase new buses every two years that suck!

The only way to kill it would have been to shut off the air. But who wants to get under the hood with the engine going to the moon? My guess is the engine sprang an oil leak into the intake manifold somehow (turbo seal most likely), and it ran on the crankcase oil until the oil was gone, then the engine locked up due to lack of lubrication.

shit I'd stick my dick in the intake if it would save the engine. spend that much money on a truck and have that happen.but really honestly with it being that new and still under warranty I pry would let it go cause the secound it went full throttle the damage started
