One of my biggest pet peeves. If you tell them to remove it, before
purchase, they will. Nothing funnier than seeing a nice Caddy on the
road with "Hyundai of St. Augustine" on the trunk.
We're not really sure what you mean, Ron. Could you be more specific? Regardless though, this process should work for any plastic auto dealer decal on a new or used vehicle. They all use a similar adhesive that will react to the heat and the picking process.
If you're worried about the heat with a plastic bumper, you can also cover the decal with Goo Gone or another all-purpose cleaner to help it pull away from the surface of the bumper (see full process below). But also check out some of the other people who have commented on this video, there are some other good ideas! :)Process: Cover the decal in Goo Gone, wait a few minutes, try to peel away whatever you can. How To Remove Dealership Stickers / Decals From Your Car
Hey everyone! I decided to remove the dealership stickers from the xB, and I figured I would make a video showing how to do it correctly. Hope it helps!
I told the dealer to not put a sticker on mine when they sold my c to me as
we waited for it to arrive from Japan. They said they have to put it per
the owner but once they sell the car to me I can take it off in their lot.
I gave it a few days and my uncle and I took it off together.
Having dealership stickers on your car can be irritating, especially if they stand out as much as mine did! Mine wasn't all one piece either, each letter was separate.
