Lesson in Italian (with Bristol accent) for Bristolians Going to Italy on 'Oliday Like
Some useful Italian phrases for Bristolians going on holiday to Italy and who want to keep their Bristol accent while talking in Italian (or how to enhance the ...
I love Bristol. Lived there all my life until 3 years ago when I came to
live here in Sardinia to be with my Italian girlfriend. I've only been to
Manchester once, many years ago, so I don't really know it. Bristol has a
lot of nice architecture, good live music scene and Bristolians are usually
very friendly once you've got to know them. The worst thing in Bristol is
the fact that the football teams are crap, especially compared to
Manchester and considering Bristol has a population of 430,000.
@demoisellegiramondo I do know that, but the rather curious thing about a
strong Bristol accent is that it turns every word ending in an "a" or an"o"
into an "awl" sound, so that "tesoro" becomes "tesorawl" and "cultura"
becomes "culturawl". Bristol was originally called "Bridgestow" (place of
the bridge) but is supposed to have changed to Bristol because of the local
accent! I'm a Bristolian living in Italy and when I speak Italian I speak
nothing like I do in the video. It was just for fun!
Hi! I'm italian and have been living in bristol for a while now! Loved your
video, it made me crack up! really gert lush! si capisce benissimo che era
volontario per accentuare la "stereotipata" pronuncia inglese in italiano!
;) well done p.s. i love bristolian accent ! every time i hear someone
speaking bristolian it sounds to me like pirates having a chat! i love the
way bristol people religiously use the letter "R" and put "Ls" at the end
of random things!
Mi dispiace per un errore cosi monumentale. Questa è una cosa assolutamente
imperdonabile! Vivo in Italia da quasi tre anni e scrivo la lingua in modo
schifoso! Però "i thinky you don"t say italian realy good" dovrebb'essere
"I don't think you speak Italian really well." Ha ragione. In questo video
è cosi, ma l'accento ridicolo è volontario!
@HelTrevize Ciao e grazie. I'm living in Nuoro with my Sardinian partner.
She's the lady in my video 'Teaching the Bristol accent to an Italian'. Her
son is very good with all the different Italian accents so, for fun, I
sometimes try to speak Italian in the different British accents!
Nice iniciative bro! Io sono brasiliano di Sao Paulo, la più grande città
italiana nel mondo. Ci sono 6 milioni di oriundi qui. E il nostro
portoghese è più simile a quello italiano a portoghese da Portogallo. Viva
Italia. E 'vivo a São Paulo.
haha im italian, an advice... you used toooooooooo many "O" at the end of
the words like: italio: italia sardegno: sardegna birro: birra inghilterro:
inghilterra vacanzo: vacanza camero: camera doccio: doccia and maaaany
others lol
@yurismir1 Interesting, because after I first uploaded it my Italian
friends (those who know some English) seemed to find it funnier than my
Bristolian friends, maybe because the accent sounds so ridiculously comical
to an Italian!
Sorry dude! Not aiming to make you disappointed, but your accent is
terrible! I am not sure even one native italian can understand what you're
saying. ;) However thanks for the effort.
@Hellkaze Lo so. Era voluntario! I was trying to speak Italian like a
Bristolian who can't get the pronunciation right and can't lose his Bristol
accent when he tries!
cmnq nn ti preoccupare per noi italiani non sono di certo gli inglesi da
prendere in giro, ansi se mai è il contrario...cmnq si capisce che è
volontario
THANK YOU SO MUCH ... it does make a difference if you do it with me all
50's :) EXCELLENT presentation of face exercise/yoga actually thank you God
Bless you Happy New Year ...
Thank you so much for making this updated version. I have been using your
older video for years now (on and off) but more recently in the last six
months have been trying to do it more regularly, my face has mad a lot of
changes and its much bigger than it used to be... just... not me. I am 27
and I really hope this helps my aging process in years to come. Your aura
is absolutely amazingly calm and comforting.
i forgot to ask what I needed to ask..I have some neck issues and in
beginning of this set of exercises when lifting head towards the sky..this
hurts my neck..do I necessarily need to look straight up or can I adjust it
to the point where I feel comfortable? I basically can't look straight up.
and would this still be as effective?
whenever you have time please get back. thanks much
I kinda confused how i'd lift my head while in bed? That would seem it might give me more neck issues then sitting, unless I completely misunderstood your technique? Can you please explain. Thanks much for response
+gracie99999 Do it in your bed, and put your head on a headboard. This is what I'm doing, and it's great Love this video !This is my new routine before going to sleep every night !
