Yeah I think American Psycho should've at least been mentioned too. I love
the movie but it's not so much centered around business as the others,
that's why it was left out I think.
Out of respect, Wall Street is number one. There Will Be Blood should be
second... Not only is it a pool of fantastic business lessons and
realities, it's the zenith of capitalism.
I can see why because movies back then were paced so much differently than they are now, that was a movie that u have to sit back and think not, it's not a movie that's super story heavy more character heavy, but I mean personally ya I did find it a little boring although I appreciated it's quality
Could you please differentiate from movies about white collar crime, versus
movies about actual business? Mafia and White collar crime is monkey
business. How about Coen Brothers THE HUDSUCKER PROXY, Fountainhead, and
make the top 10 business movies about people who made money legitimately?
I am really sick of the glorification of white collar crime, because there
are very dumb people in this world who learn about business from watching
movies.
Business movies that are in my top ten are: Steal Big Steal Little; about two brothers, one is ruthless in business, the other is a giving employer! How about Sabrina: Tough Businessman Linus Larrabee learns that love is more important than business, however he is a "balls to the wall" businessman. How about "How to Succeed in Business without really trying?" which is a musical based on starting in the mailroom and ending up in the board room?
ill never understand why citizen kane continues to be called one of if not
the greatest movie of all time. in reality it's one of the worst movies
ever made. who's dick is everyone trying to suck? everyone who worked on it
is dead so just accept that it actually sucks
+Jack Hall and yeah no matter how rich and powerful you are parts of you never change like childhood memories and shit.... it was told in such a boring story tho
