Fascinating. I am afraid I could not understand the work you were using to refer to the tailpiece, Johan. Did you say 'lederpipe'? Could somebody educate me, please? I have often wondered why this extra (and therefore expensive) material was used; now I know.

+Peripatetic45 No, i used the term 'liripipe' . Mostly its was just a fashionthing. It dont have to be very expensive though, as it can be made with leftovers from the cutting. They are often not in one piece with the hood.

that is correct. I choosed not to have it because its a game and not really a way you can use when Walking around... the collecting cherries, or transporting a letter (as a drawing shows) i thought was covered in the "having the hood at the front.. but i could have elaborated there.. (i planned to, but... when you stand there you dont Always say what you plan..)I also missed the "just laying it loosely on the head" as seen on St Ursula and her helpers.after all..i was just playing around abit  :)

Wish the clip could have been longer. That took me back 50+ years. I think our choir was the first female choir to sing in the Navy Chapel for a Sunday service. Beautiful!

I too wish it was longer. My son is a member of the Hood Choir and I flew out to Frederick to see. It was a wonderful performance
