The UKTI Japan team has maintained its presence in Tokyo and Osaka throughout the aftermath of the 11 March earthquake. One thing that is obvious to us ...
@cokeisgood111 LOL What the bloody hell are you talking about! read not
just headlines but articles themselves. Most of the aftershocks are as
small as ones you would experience anytime when in Japan, tsunami warnings
were issued only on 7th 8th and 11th of april for those most devastated
areas, and water is safe - bring out your radioactivity checker with you
and you'll find it useless in Tokyo. Visit midnight los angeles is much
more dangerous than tokyo id say!
no way i think going to japan right now is like a death trap. people even
in tokyo are getting lots of aftershocks almost daily and there are still
tsunami warnings everywhere, plus the radioactivity in the food and even
bottled water. japan is probably the least safest place you can go at this
time.
Thanks Sir Paul Smith and Mr David Warren. I am encouraged so much by your
message. We Japanese really appreciate the supports from all over the world.
Last Saturday I ran 60km in order to raise funds for Save the Children Japan and their earthquake recovery fund. Most of the run was done in temperatures close ...
Im sure you know more about running than me, but getting cramps and being
dehydrated like that ... remember to take enough magnesium! Its one of the
easier ways to cope with cramps and when its hot and you are sweating you
easily lack magnesium and minerals so taking magnesium pills at least
helped me a lot when my muscles are hurting after training. ... plain water
just isn't enough. Well, Im sure you already got something, but hearing
about cramps in the morning just made me wonder! & GANBATE!
That was Amazing. Next year when i go to Japan to Study i am going to try
and Run from Nagoya to Tokyo. i have walked it before and i wanted a super
challange and by watching your Video it has made me what to train harder
and get ready for that day. Again welldone you are a great inspiration.
@MrFukthoseusernames actually no. Running has become a very popular hobby
or many in Japan. I always get kind smiles and nods from japanese runners.
Good country to run in! Unrested (friend of mine) like to work out, but I
on7t think he does serious running in Japan.
You sound absolutely destroyed! Your voice actually changed as the video
went on, and you looked crisply burned as well. I burst out laughing when
you said, "Even my teeth hurts!". No Air Con in the bed room? How the hell
can you survive there?
@phampants thank you so much. having an incredibley high pain threshold
helps....or is that something running has made me develop....hmmm...chicken
and egg!? You helped and supported a lot. Your gels and Lara bars and Clif
Bars fueled the run!
@roxanneworld11 actuallly my last long run was more than 2 weeks before
this one. it was also only 20km. I really think the heat messed my body up.
regardless....less than a week later and I'm recovered and back to normal!
p.s. stomach problems? Take dried ginger powder (one teaspoon) and half a
teaspoon of black pepper powder then mix with one tsp. of honey or maple
syrup and mix with lukewarm water then drink and get healed.
Ouch!...Recovery time..I think you're right about the heat, etc. You're
such a go-getter, so committed. But I believe you also needed more recovery
time as well from your last long run....Take care! :o)
..ok tweeted and added to FB also, you are a really amazing person to do
this! I thought you were doing this run with others, I can't believe you
did this alone!! You SIR ROCK !
