Hi I'm moving from Canada to the US - are you able to do this kind of move and the 2nd question - I live in a condo and would likely need to have PODS deliver the container to a visitor parking space - have you done this before?

This ad came on TV just now, and reminded me of the year and a bit I spent in Australia, sitting home alone while everyone else was at work, watching The Morning Show on 7, changing the channel over when Danoz Direct ads came on, while eating vegemite on toast and drinking Robert Timms (eeuuughh) coffee, brewed with a tea-bag (Not all coffee was like this, I swear!) Aand, in case any Aussies being shown this are around, I love your country, despite the only thing to do was to walk to Coles haha

Why would I want the world to know I'm a pack-rat by having something to store useless junk? And isn't "pack-rat" just a nicer phrase for someone with compulsive hoarding syndrome? Haven't they seen those shows about compulsive hoarders literally buried in their own filth?? "Oh joy, now I have room to store MORE of my bags of decomposing dead cats!" Enablers.

This is an ICONIC example of how marketing can be botched. Do you really expect the majority of Americans to know what a "laurie" is? This commercial went in with the premise that American's buy stuff as long as it's sold by an Australian accent.
